Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC tomorrow!!

I can't see this anywhere on the PS4 store at all, and it's only showing trailers for me on the website.

Did I confuse the release time?

I see a lot of 64 player CQ Locker only servers on the PC, and somehow they're more full than empty. No one talks about it because it's a guilty pleasure, I guess. It's not balanced but there's a lot of action. It's fun in short bursts sometimes but it's much worse than it has to be because of how the map was designed. Metro Conquest 64 isn't any better.

Locker TDM with 400 tickets is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Agreed, there wasn't a memorable map in the CR pack. Just generic turds. Then they follow it up with recycled maps ? I'm just glad I didn't buy premium early on. The only way I get Premium now is if they drop the price by %50.

They seriously need to fix the 1 shot deaths, also the knocking an enemy down to zero health yet somehow he survives and kills you, that shit happened way too many times to me yesterday. How do you survive with Zero health !?!? Are they broken down to 1/1000ths , " you almost had him but he still has .001 health left." Fuck That !

It annoys me that there are still no custom servers on PS4. I could actually stand to play some of the Rush maps if tyou could play with 200% tickets.

As for Operation Locker woes, I get quite a lot of satisfaction out of breaking through deadlocks and having 10 enemies with their backs to me. I also piss off people with 40mm smoke and flares.

It has nothing to do with it being pleasurable and everything to do with it being a relatively mindless way to get unlocks while doing almost nothing besides standing on an ammo crate and spamming.

I think Locker is a pretty good map with smaller playercounts. Just like Metro there is a critical mass of explosive spam that will render the gameplay a clusterfuck. Keep the player/explosive limit beneath that and they're not bad maps.

Playing on XBOX ONE, it happened to me twice yesterday. I had to quit the game and they were back up, but the second time I had to quit the game a couple of times before they were fixed. Freaked me out for a moment.

Kind of funny they're working on the issue now when the bug was introduced in the last patch. I guess it is more important when you need to fix it to sell DLC.
 
I think Rogue Transmission and Flood Zone are my 2 favorite maps in BF4 Vanilla.

In China Rising none of them really stand out although Silk Road is a great tank map (although not really that much different from Golmud Railway in Vanilla), and Dragon Pass is alot of fun for infantry.

I'm looking forward to Caspian once I'm able to download Second Assault later today.

I wish I could have my money back for both. I "dealt with it", and put in a good amount of hours, but that was expecting the game to get better, and it's not. Each time I log in there's new problems found with the game. It's an utter disaster and mess.

EA should offer full refunds on the game and/or at least premium. Or if they don't want to "give money back" they should give us that bought both a $60 credit to use on Origin.

It's a damn shame what happened to one of my favorite franchises ever. :(
 
I don't get whats up with this game. I mean some people have none stop issues and others don't. I've had stuff like tagging and hit markers not appearing on the screen(usually finding a different server fixes this) and the game stuttering in specific map areas, but I haven't had the game crash on me in forever. Yet when I play with friends some of them get constantly kicked, and others are fine. I wonder if it's a router or isp issue that's causing the disconnects.

Locker is great when you are looking to rank up a weapon. Did it just the other day with the FAMAS. Close quarters means it's easier when you are using iron sights or hip firing.

Or if I want to just throw grenades randomly and spam the 320 to get kills. Also a good way for medics to get ribbons.
