Battlefield 6 reveal during 3 day EA event on July 29th

I was really looking forward to this but the all guns, all classes thing puts me off. But more annoying was the brickheaded response of not even considering why its a bad idea for the BF formula annoyed me more.

They easily could have had open battlefield mode and classic to manage that.

Im still on the fence right now tbh

Make Battlefield Great Again

Don't people already know what it looks like?

There's tons of videos on Youtube. I can't see how much different it would be from that for a "reveal".

and they have been on a terrible streak of battlefield games for the last decade, I can't see this changing tbh. But hopefully thy prove me wrong.

EA has found ways to screw up BF that I didnt know existed since #4. Hopefully this one is actually good and they found people who understand why people like these games. With Call of Duty being in such an awful state and with no hope of getting better anytime soon, there is certainly room for them to step in.

To me the malicious hate bubble 2042 got was undeserved and it was made by people who never cared about battlefield and even trolls and to me that tells me there's concern for other shooters, I sometimes forget there's other shooters than call of duty and battlefield.

From the leaks and maybe I had my hands on it. If it's polished will hands down to be best bf game in the series.

A free to play mode? So that means even if you don't buy it (immediately or at all) you can play the free to play mode? That's kinda cool.

Wrong. Lots of people are waiting for a new BF game.

The problem is that BF hasn't been any good for such a long time, there is now a whole generation that doesn't even know what it is. They might just look at a trailer and think it's just another CoD clone.
Older people like us, we still have great memories from a long time ago, and we are hoping to finally get a proper good BF.
But even among us, most are very skeptical. Most are probably expecting another flop, until proven wrong.
The thing is EA and Dice have burned all trust they had with gamers. And it's going to take a lot to get some of it back.

This, the younger generation of gamers could care less about BF.

The older generations are skeptical of Battlefield too, now.

Absolutely not. Felt much better when i played it and this new recoil looks even better
Are the bullets actually going where the aim is? No more forced random spread?
What about the shots going nowhere near the target for a few seconds after you took some suppressive fire?
Can we actually carry more than 14 bullets when going recon?
Are we back to random soldiers and no more "heroes" with marvel quips?
Do we have a leaderboard with proper representation of K/D ratio?
Do the current maps actually have some fucking cover this time?
Playing infantry, are they actual normal soldiers without bullshit powers like flying squirrels or ziplining all over the place?

Is it fucking Battlefield again?

Yes it fucking does

The moment to moment gunplay looks almost identical
Bullshit. I played nearly 500 hours of bf2042, and I've tested 6 for a good 40 hours…it looks and plays nothing alike gunplay wise. 6's guns have weight to them and actual recoil that looks and feels like recoil. Y'all can argue that shit all you want, but you are flat out wrong.
