  • Command across dual perspectives
Plan and issue orders from a high-level command map and watch engagements unfold in a fully simulated 3D battlefield.
  • Multi-Domain Operations
Coordinate infantry, armored units, artillery, drones, helicopters, aircraft, naval forces, and missile systems in a single, unified battlespace.
  • Hundreds of units and weapons
250+ unit types, including infantry, IFVs, MBTs, UAVs, AEW aircraft, bombers, tankers, carriers, submarines, ballistic missile launchers, and more - each with realistic capabilities and loadouts.
  • Massive real-world maps
Battlefields of up to 6,250,000 km², generated from real geographic data with destructible environments and urban combat.
  • No abstractions or off-map support
Every asset exists on the battlefield. Call in artillery, close air support, or missile strikes by commanding the actual units executing them.
  • Advanced simulation of sensors and signals
Radar systems, jamming, ELINT, sensors, and communication links are modelled in detail.
  • Realistic engagement ranges and pacing.
Some engagements span a single city block, others span hundreds of kilometres. Positioning, reconnaissance, and timing are critical.
  • Rules of Engagement system
Define how your units move, select weapons, and engage targets across different domains.
  • Large-scale AI operations
Fight against an AI capable of planning and executing coordinated attacks across land, air, and sea.
  • 50+ playable nations (and growing)
Deploy forces from a wide range of modern militaries, each with unique equipment and capabilities.
  • Mission editor and scenario creation
Design custom operations with full control over units, objectives, and battlefield conditions.
  • Full modding support
Modify units, maps, nations, and even core simulation parameters.
  • Steam Workshop integration (planned)
Share and discover community-created missions, units, and scenarios.

This game looks fantastic but I feel like it's not one I'd like to play. I'd probably chill and watch other people who are actually good at these fuck shit up though.

I use to play a lot of Microprose games back in the Amiga days and some Military sims on PC as well in the later 90's, but i haven't played any in 20 years, i'm glad they are back and it looks ok, but i'm not sold on the game yet with that video.

It's only Microprose in "name" doesn't have any of the "original" team from waay waay back...The name has been revived that's about it...bit like Infogrames

Yeah, and they are more like a producer now. They see a good indie project and they bank it.

But they've been nailing in their game selection for almost 2 years now

ps. I bought almost every one of these.

How's Cleared Hot? I played so much Desert Strike it seems like I'd love it.

Rise of Piracy and Ground Branch seem to be pretty cool.

Ground Branch right now is like a mix between the old Ghost Recon/R6 games with huge QOL improvements. The gear customization system is impressive, you can change your equipment's based on each pocket of your clothes/armor.
But right now their focus still is on the multiplayer PVP/PVE component. The SP component is bare at the moment.

Eh, not so sure about that. Microprose has been making some good retro feeling games lately, very similar in feel to their great games from back in the C64/Amiga days.

It might be whole new teams, but they seem to have understood the assignment thoroughly.
