The sequel isn't moving away from nintendo's ecosystem, they helped fund the game, they own the code.
I own every single platinumgames game cept Nier so far
They also helped fund/develop ninja gaiden razors edge and that came to other systems. So they could either remake the game or do a third title...?

Big difference is that Nintendo owns the code of Bayonetta 2. For it to release on other systems, Platinum would have to remake the game from scratch, and that ain't happening.
Bayo 2 is funded/published/saved by Nintendo. So probably never. You'll have a better chance on Switch.
Uh I love Platinum as much as the next person, but they're not a charity, and you're not directly funding anything. Pay for the product that you want, not to "support" ports that may or may never come.

They actually didn't, they just published it in the west, which means they just paid for (temp) exclusivity, koei published it themselves in japan.
They actually funded the development of Bayo 2 and own the code.
Skin is doable, I assume but the design itself seems heavily exclusive to the sequel.

Eh, can't justify the triple dip without the 21:9 support. Maybe if someone mods it in later I'll pick it up but I can't deal with the black bars on new purchases.

It's his money, of course it's about him. What are you talking about? Man, those folks aren't gonna bring anything else to PC anyway, no matter what you, me, or anyone else does. It's not his job or any other consumer's to buy one game in hopes that it will spark the company's interest in porting another. I wanted Danganronpa on PC, that doesn't mean I spent $50 on Clanaad as a means of generating demand for visual novels.

This is a real teeth grinder for me. I always buy games like this on PC so I can have an archival quality version of it, but kind of want to give it a little bit and see if a switch version of 1 and 2 appear then buy it later on a Steam sale or some such. Just revisited it on Wii U about 6 months ago so I'm not totally chomping at the bit to replay it.

Nah, look at a few of their other ports ( Valkyrie Chronicles, Metal Gear Revengeance). $20 and $30 respectively. I would expect something like Vanquish to be priced at $20 too if that ever sees the light of day on PC.

Game looks like absolute ass (just like the original), runs really well, has a good amount of settings. Butt ugly with good performance and kickass gameplay. Yup, it's Bayonetta! Good deal for 20 bucks.
Just need a mod with Bayonetta 2 skin, the removal of piss filter and then it would be perfect.
BUT CAN YOU SUMMON BOWSER
You know I'm actually pretty happy that I won't be playing this for a little bit. New game releases gonna keep me busy for a while, so when I get to replaying the shit out of this I'll be able to enjoy the mods. Most looking forward to getting rid of the overdone bloom and piss filter.
