Those are year to date sales numbers...so yeah that's from the release of each game

if we assume best buy has roughly 10% of the american video games market , just multiply each by 10 to get a rough estimate of nationwide sales. I don't know what % market share BBY has though.

I actually totally forgot GC numbers......wow i forgot we sold it...well to be honest the numbers were gonna send the GC fanboys into super damage control mode.

Using that formula, then Halo 2 has sold... 91,509 x 4 x 8 = 2,928,288 units so far...wow
and GTA:SA has sold... 118,726 x 4 x 10 = 4,749,040... also wow
which means that GTA:SA has done 4,749,040 - 2.05 mil. = 2.69 mil in november so far

Now if the formula for xbox software is x4 x10, then Halo 2 would be at... 3,660,360..wow

As for hardware:

XBox - 21,784 x 4 x 8 = 697,088
PStwo - 31,577 x 4 x 10 = 1,263,080

great numbers for both! when did bestbuy start selling the pstwo?

GCN doesn't do well at BB anyway. TRU is the last bastion of Nintendo strength.
