I don't know why they gots ta be so secretive about this one little detail. My prediction is every game MS has published for release + the 50 best selling games released on xbox that weren't MS published. That'd be around 100 titles right ? I think after that they'd release patches going by the number of requests they recieve for a particular title.

Yup, according to xbox.com MS game studios has published 49 games.

Going through that list 2 games can be removed, so 47 games. I'd say backwards compatibility would work with atleast all of this years EA sports games as well. So that leaves perhaps 40 other games I guess ?

Because no matter what games are on the list, there will be backlash. They're trying to avoid it for as long as possible, but they can't do it forever.
