Willco: Oh, come on. That post has to be a joke, right? You're saying people are stupid for blindly believing what PETA says, and you go on to prove your point by...blindly believing what KFC says?

Actually, I pulled that information from several anti-KFC sites, a news article, an op-ed piece from FOX and a PR statement from PETA.

So yeah, I believe all that. Considering not once I pulled anything from KFC except for the quote about those horrible beak rippin' off machines.

Human death sentences =/= slaughtering chickens and cows for food. Honestly, have you ever been to a cattle slaughter house?

I don't know if you're just fucking around, but can't you see any logic in treating animals properly, food or not? I'm not asking for no red carpet or limousines, just decent treatment and a painless death. Also try to look at it from a health perspective. I don't think that drugged up chickens, that are killed by the boots of men, are very clean and healthy.

If that's just how you feel, well that's just more evidence in my everlasting theory of human nature. Enjoy your dirty chicken!

What is the point of giving something "rights" that you're going to kill and devour anyway?

Really.

What's the point of giving rights to the workers if you're only going to take their money from them anyway?

Mmmmmmmmmm.

WoW, nice picture of a chicken, if you are gonna try and bring actually cooked food into this then at least get something good looking.

Well, I can see that most of you are totaly dumb ass morons, who missed the point. At least there were few like RonaldoSan who got it. We are supposed to be the higher-life form. But I guess not huh.

In the grand scheme of things there are more important things to bitch about. The wellbeing of domesticated animals for consumption, clothing etc is just above the wellbeing of feral animals and pests.

All living things need to be treated fairly and have a painless death if need be- it's just that with war, famine, tsunami, human rights abuses, world poverty and the environment at large I can't see why such a big deal is made out of KFC.

Humanity is the one that should all be lined up for the slaughter house, and made food for the soil.
What is it with you and your hate for humanity....again.

I have a hard time understanding vegatarians. To me, if you want to eat anything, you are forced to kill away some life, or you keep their seeds to giving birth to more life. So I know there are terrible crimes commited against animals, but to eat you kill. Sure, vegetables, fruits, trees do not seem like they live, but they do. So I chose to eat whatever I wanted, but to threat my meals with respect everytime. Once a day, I make an apology about whatever life I might have killed.

How can you be a vegan? I think animals subproducts are used everywhere. I prefer just to stand respectful about life. :)

I love how that Juan Pollo coupon says "Buy 2 Whole Chickens" - "Includes 2 Whole Chickens". A picture of 2 whole chickens also serves to reinforce the concept.

I'm a very religious guy, so while I have the belief that God created animals such as chickens and cows for us to eat, at the same time, I also have the belief that we have to treat them well.

Now, is that a contradiction? When we kill these animals, don't they feel pain?

Well, again religious rules dictate they have to be killed a certain way to be kosher, and I think that these methods do a good job of minimizing pain for these animals.

The allegations against KFC, whether true or not, are based around ill-treatment of these animals throughout their whole lives, from birth to death. I can't accept that, despite my beliefs that these animals were meant to be eaten, and were born to die for our sustanence.
