ROFLMAO, absolutely hilarious. It's supposed to be like MGS: Snake Eater, but he eats cats instead. What makes this so funny is the stereotype that cats are cute and helpless. And as we all know, you'll find many domestic cats at petting zoos.

I dont get it.

In Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, you hunt down your food and eat it to replenish stamina. There's a variety of different animals to eat like fish, bats, snakes, rabbits, etc...

It's a rabbit.

This is obviously a fake VGCats comic.

A real one requires me to press Page Down at least 3 times before it is off of my screen.

Even though it's not my favorite, that Farmer Ben one might be one of the best short comics ever. The attention to detail is beautiful. The bunny's ears making up the two L's in 'Billy' on the cover of the book. That detail wasn't neccessary at all, but it's there, and it doesn't detract from the strip at all. Same goes with the wife calling the man 'Benjamin'. It just adds so much more character to a strip that banks on it's humane character study and real world scope for the punchline.

That may seem like an overanalyzation for a 4 panel comic strip, but it's just what comes to mind every time I look at it.

You're not alone. I noticed the same things.

I love PBF's humour, but it's the freshness that makes me enjoy it so much. The attention to detail, both in the writing and in the drawin, really shows you the talent and effort behind it. Maybe 20 years of Garfield's made me overly receptive to new cartoons that are actually funny and ingenuitive, but PBF rox.

EDIT: I should also mention how much I love the abrupt change in style that's employed when the comic shifts from the story's drawings to the real world (the final panel is particularly detailed with the partially eaten carrots on the plate and the broken door in the background :lol) .

There are some cases where over-analyzation results in outlandish conclusions, but in the case of PBF, a second glance is usually warranted.

But, every time a VGCats is posted, it gives a reason to troll the thread with every PBF you can find!

That's kind of ... the opposite of trolling. Is there a word for that? Willfully derailing terrible discussion threads with high-quality, informative content?

The thing that gets me about PBF is that every time there's a comic thread, you all post the same damn comics ten or twenty times. I'm actually getting a tad sick of them, personally.

I'd still prefer a ban for those posting VGCats. Attack the problem at its source.

It´s the same for PA. I have nothing against this comics (I like PA for example), but it´s certain there is certain routine always there is a comic thread.

Of course, there is somtehing that concerns mods, I don´t want to look as I want to discuss GA rules and it´s not problem for me if people want to ask with a "no" to every comic thread.

Happy?

At least this VGCats strip has no furries and is short (I'm shocked the author didn't stretch out the joke for another 18 panels). Otherwise, retarded as usual.

YOU CAN'T RUSH GENIUS

Seriously, every single VGCats thread gets ambushed by the same PBF strips every goddamn time. Listen, if you didn't like every other VGCats, YOU PROBABLY WON'T LIKE THE NEXT ONE EITHER, just give it a rest already. Make a PBF thread, and then all the White Ninja people can ambush you guys.

Jeez, it's not the funniest thing in the world but it's not THAT bad.

This is GAF. VG Cats is official Hate Material. F'instance, VG Cats could go on to print 100 strips with no anthro characters, and FortNintey would still comment "OMG there are no furries how could it be?!" every single time.

Remember children, you get out of the Internet what you put into it!

You forgot the part where I'm deemed a gay-hater for not considering Mickey Mouse as a furry.
