I think his voice is as good as it could have been while remaining believable for a 15/16 year old.

In case anyone didn't know episode 24 is out. Quite the awesome episode; I'm expecting 25 may totally destroy it in awesomeness.

Ok well I stopped grabbing this series after 5 episodes because I quite frankly couldn't be stuffed due to my liking in the manga totally over-riding all possibilities of me enjoying the anime since I thought it destroyed it too much.

But I'm curious, anyone want to give me a recap of the last few episodes..
are they at Greatful Sound? or is it completely changed?

Yeah, that's where they are right now. They didn't change it from the manga.

Curse my blood. I might have to *gulp download it again just for this. When it happened in the manga I was peakin' :lol

from the manga I knew it was going to be sad but still I just hated the outcome

kid should of went Solo I don't like the next arch if they continue Beck next season

use spoiler tags next time. ~admin

So if someone wanted to jump from ep26 of the anime to the manga, what volume should they start on?

Having not read the manga I thought ep26 was excellent. The director did a really nice job artistically at making a sound ending. I think it's a lot harder to make a good ending off a current running manga than off an original series, so ep26 impressed me.

And it was cool seeing The Pillows guest star in the series (though I'm not sure if they did their own voices. They weren't listed in the credits ^^;).

So there really is no news of a second season? Y_Y

They could do one, but I'm guessing they recapped/told most of the next arc in 10 mins in ep26. But I think the anime, like Hikaru no Go anime, does a good job at bringing enough closure so that even if no more is animated it's a complete work.

I got confirmation from a friend that The Pillows voice themselves on Beck. My friend was at a concert of theirs about a month or two ago and they told the audience they were about to go record some lines for the anime.

I know that the Greatful Sound arc is at around volume 10, pretty the festival winds up on the last chapter there. So just use that as a guide.

Mugen your avatar looks like really rough sex maybe my mind is just dirty but once you see it you can't unsee it :D

:(

Goodbye beck thread I will miss you

I haven't followed the Beck Manga since 11... can anyone direct me to the mangas, or is that not allowed anymore since its licensed?

*sniff* Last episode. *wipes tear away* Well, I dont need this thread anymore. I hope you guys enjoyed the Beck anime as much as I did... *walks away with head hanging* Loving you is sometimes...............

1. Not surprised, Bebpo, since I recognized "Last Dinosaur" as being from FLCL the moment it started playing. :)

2. Wow. People wanting to jump to the manga really should have done so from 25, as 26 is one big massive spoiler of (some) volumes to come. That being said, it leaves enough of the details vague, so people new to the manga definitely has something to read even if they know what's going to happen for quite a few volumes. The ending itself, well, I suppose it's good, but I'm so biased by the manga that I didn't really feel like it was anything but a recap episode. Greatful Sound and Moon on the Water stand as the series highpoints for me.

:lol -_-"

That's Sasuke about to pwn Gaara. :D

Pretty boring little last ep but it ties things up and it was sweet. Sad it's over. Later.

25 and 26 are now out.. and the Beck anime has ended. :( Maybe we'll get a second season down the road.. one can only hope. There's still so much left to cover.

Just saw the last episode, sad to see it end. Is it really possible they'll make a second season? I mean, it seemed like they wanted to cram as much story as possible into the last episode it before ending the series. I really enjoyed Beck though, it started out kind of slow and had a bit too many things going on at the side of the main story, so to speak...even though I liked those parts too, just not as much. A refreshing series, and I always dig nice success stories like this one.

Ok, I caught up through vol.22 of the manga and I have a question: Is Harold a guy or a girl? I would think it's a guys name, but I've seen the Japanese assign it to a girl before also and the art for Beck is really shoujo-ish (especially the covers).

I got to search my HD to see where I last left off with the BECK manga

hope I can get some BECK love back

manga question

is the romance back on track in the latest volume?
