I'm excited about this... I'm most excited about the music tho. For a manga that is about the growth of a band... it's a bit hard to imagine the kinda music they play with just pictures.

I personally think both voice actors for Koyuki and Ryusuke were top notch, exactly how I wanted to hear them. Heck, Koyuki even sang a little on top of the school :O A sign of things to come?!?!? Yes.

The OP was pretty cool, even if it was thrashy rock
Was also cool seeing the glimpse of Ryusuke playing the guitar both at a concert and at his shack (even though you didn't see him do it it still made me whimper with joy).

Animenfo.com says 26, but if it is indeed 26 episodes, they will have to cut out some of the manga unless they change the storyline of the anime compared to the manga, aka Full Metal Alchemist style.

I enjoyed it, yes... the engrish is hard to swallow & I don't think I've ever heard someone say "STFU" that many times in such a short span. It's got a nice style & the animation was solid & I love the OP theme, can't wait for the next episode.

That's just the plot in the first episode mainly. There's some swearing later by English speakers at bars and stuff, but it isnt too prominent. And that guy clearly was a native English speaker himself, so the only one speaking Engrish was Ryuusuke and his voice actor's English was incredibly good for a Japanese person. I dont really understand that criticism in this case personally.

Anyway, although the character designs for Koyuki and Izumi are a tad bit off IMO (curious how Maho will turn out), I think this is a very good adaptation of the manga. What's up with Mongorian though? haha.

Ryuusukes english wasnt bad. You could understand it clearly and it sounded sort of natural. Hes half so his japanese sounds a little awkward as well.

His English is supposed to be perfect, though. He grew up in America, right? I guess it was tough finding a VA who had the right voice and could speak both languages.

The english it was strange... it had a strong american accent... but had strange japanese inflections...

Even for half kids, when they go back to japan, they pick up japanese speech inflections REAL fast. He sounds about right to me.

"wtf are you" is preety valid to me but then again, I haven't seen the episode.
