As an Xbox fan(but barely hanging on) I thought this was pretty funny:
Being a Bungie fan actually feels like the video, now that you mention it. 20s gaming is so ass...![]()
If you are a Xbox fan in 2025 you are the problem. If you liked Xbox from OG Xbox and early 360 era and if you loved old Bungie Halo games, you will never like the current Xbox.
I still have hope that someone (maybe even Sony) buys Halo from Microsoft, makes a new studio with Joseph Staten, Marty, other old school Halo devs and devs who are fan of Halo and starts where Bungie left.Being a Bungie fan actually feels like the video, now that you mention it. 20s gaming is so ass...
Usually the less mainstream something is, the cooler the audience is. If you're an Xbox fan in 2025, that means you are required to think for yourself, ignore peer pressure and conformity campaigns, ignore constant trolling, ignore the Keighley's and most game journalists, and pick what you like based on your own opinion. Most Xbox threads are filled with some of the coolest people here, with thoughtful opinions. Similar phenomenon with SEGA fans.If you are a Xbox fan in 2025 you are the problem.
I would still be an Xbox fan if I had assurances regarding future platforms and honoring my library. I don't feel confident with that anymore and I stopped feeling confident the moment they went third party.Usually the less mainstream something is, the cooler the audience is. Old devs are like old bands: usually had left their creative days behind. Besides Marty got in a fight with everybody else because he's a conservative. So no reunion tour. What the industry needs is give resources to new talent like it was made in the 90s. What companies don't understand is that what made games like FF, MGS or Halo great weren't their creator's names but the fact that they were young and willing to explore ideas.I still have hope that someone (maybe even Sony) buys Halo from Microsoft, makes a new studio with Joseph Staten, Marty, other old school Halo devs and devs who are fan of Halo and starts where Bungie left.
That's a huge deal to me as well. We'll see how these AMD devices shake out.I would still be an Xbox fan if I had assurances regarding future platforms and honoring my library. I don't feel confident with that anymore and I stopped feeling confident the moment they went third party.
SEGA actually had games. Xbox does not have that since 2013.Similar phenomenon with SEGA fans.
If they keep expanding play anywhere and release a reasonably price box compared to the cost of PC hardware, I can see myself buying "magus" or whatever it is so i can play my games on my upstairs pc and downstairs "Xbox".That's a huge deal to me as well. We'll see how these AMD devices shake out.

Speaking for yourself at least.SEGA actually had games. Xbox does not have that since 2013.
there is a word for this, it is cope.I see online a lot of people saying the next gen will be like the X360 era where Microsoft will launch one year before PS6 and a lot of gamers will jump in again. Im like who in their right mind would trust Microsoft after this generation?
I am fortunate enough to own all the consoles but have always enjoyed the Xbox ecosystem, controllers, backwards compatibility, and several other features.
I have PS5 and a decent PC both of which I use lots, but have always favored Xbox. But like the video says it's getting harder as time goes on.
Yeah dude, whatever.
A company is funding a game, its not their game. LMAO.
I have not been a Xbox fan in a long time buddy.Speaking for yourself at least.
That's fine, but like I said, you're speaking for yourself.I have not been a Xbox fan in a long time buddy.
No. I said "Xbox fan in 2025". I am not speaking for myself. That's fine, but like I said, you're speaking for yourself.
My point stands.No. I said "Xbox fan in 2025". I am not speaking for myself.
No it does not.My point stands.
Invest wherever you want. Please tell me how this would be the reason for anyone to invest on an Xbox?
- They don't own the IP
- Its not exclusive to their platform
- Not even console exclusive
- Will probably look better on PS5
Well I was already stacked up on GP through 2028. So I can play Keeper, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Outer Worlds 2, plus all the other stuff this month for a tiny fraction of the cost. Then when I decide to buy NG4, I'll get an Xbox copy and a PC copy. Please tell me how this would be the reason for anyone to invest on an Xbox?
Let it go man. No one at Xbox cares about you.Well I was already stacked up on GP through 2028. So I can play Keeper, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Outer Worlds 2, plus all the other stuff this month for a tiny fraction of the cost. Then when I decide to buy NG4, I'll get an Xbox copy and a PC copy.
This is all really common sense stuff. You're just being an ass. No one cares if you want to play it on Playstation. Go for it.
Great comeback.Let it go man. No one at Xbox cares about you.
Why would you play those games? Ninja Gaiden 4 I can understand but I see no point in buying essentially the worst version in Xbox. But the others? Do you play your games based on if they are released by a corporation you shill?Invest wherever you want.
Those are games I would definitely play.
Sunset Overdrive was the last time I enjoyed a game they made. And I waited a decade through all those promises for them to make something good.Wouldn't say they are not making games.
Personally, I would invest in xbox platform if I like their first party games.
Exclusivity has been the sole reason to buy a console.Exclusivity is not required.
2014? Weird.Sunset Overdrive was the last time I enjoyed a game they made.
yes2014? Weird.
I agree with this, but this might be changing in the current landscape of gaming.Exclusivity has been the sole reason to buy a console.
