Let's go bernie!!!
This is blowing my mind because I never thought the left would devolve into this similarly ridiculous ideology but it has. Bernie is basically mirroring what Ron Paul did on the right in 2008 and 2012. Neither of them ever had a chance and yet you get these threads here of people saying "oh man, he had a few thousand and sold out at this arena, he's gonna win!" It's incredible how much it seems like its the same thing. I guess support him if you enjoy it but please know how utterly pointless it is.
McCain wasn't a neoconservative, and was pondering a Presidential run as early as 1996.
The only thing the two have in common is that both of their supporters are creepy fanatics who jump down your throat if you don't acknowledge them as the Second Coming of Christ.
That said, at least Sanders has some decent (if VERY naive/idealistic) policies.
Paul (and his son) are just fucking insane.
Yep. Young people get enamored by ideologues because they still live in a sheltered black and white world. You grow up and realize it is all bullshit and some ideology doesn't solve problems. I got old Ron Paul stickers I would like to burn to prove it.
He means black and white thinking as in there are only two choices. "Complete totalitarianism or anarchy." "State schools or no schools." "Left twix or right twix." So on.What kind of bullshit post is this? What does being white have to do with it. What
.To be quite honest OP, you're more annoying than any Bernie Sanders supporter I've seen.
Im not American so I haven't read in great detail his policies, but they appear to me as providing strong middle incomes, pensions, and a stop to pandering to the 0.01%.
Letting a tiny minority of the population run off with all the money is idealistic as fuck and that was able to happen.
Damn right. This nut doesn't stand a chance either.
yeah but did Ron Paul get a Lil B cosign?

Can I ask what about him makes you consider him a "nut"?
Since the dawn of stabilized capitalism, not the dawn of time. In monarchist times, one needed a good family name and history in addition to money. How the hell is that idealistic when "Money Buys Power" has been a proven fact since the dawn of civilization?
