It's my favorite arc for sure. I think the second one for me would be black swordsman for how dark it is

Conviction arc is much darker and more brutal though. Bit of a shame that the series probably will never be as violent again. Remember reading an interview with Miura where he said something along the line of such exlicit content not being possible any more these days.
That being said, I already noticed this while reading the manga the first time. Feels weird when the world is supposedly overflown with demons in the latest Fantasia arc yet the earlier arcs (especially the Conviction arc) feel much darker in comparrison.

In my calculations there are in excess of 10,000 pages of the comic, so it’d take a full shelf. I’m buying it digitally on ComiXology for that reason
