I agree. The fights are all absolutely amazing. Even in MGS 2 were just a few of the boss characters weren't all that great, the fights were still brilliant.Solid said:Every Metal Gear Solid boss. Seriously.

Diablos said:The only thing that sucks about The End, however, isif you save you end up in prison... if you wait more than 7 days to play again, he dies of "natural causes." WTF, good boss fights don't deserve that kind of treatment.
indeed.Parallax Scroll said:A few that come to mind:
Metal Gear Solid / MGS3
Zelda: OOT (the bosses were my favorite thing about the game)
Contra III
Ikaruga

J2 Cool said:Hmm, gotta disagree on this. RE4's fights were big, intense, and action filled, but MGS bossfights always seemed more thought out than any other games. Especially in 1 and 3 where they refocused themselves. There's mental challenges, physical, psychological, emotional. The End really represents the different approach the Metal Gear games take to Boss fights, and they've done it with others. The always add something of the situation into the fight. Be it the absurd or emotional. Psycho Mantis, Sorrow, Boss, Persistent Ocelot. No other game really attempts that. RE4 was great in that it was the classic bossfight in overdrive. Pure intensity and artillery throughout. It certainly fit the type of game they crafted as a whole though.
