I'm looking to buy a good college hoops game this year. I want it to be heavy on sim play, a ton of dynasty features, blah blah you know the drill. I do not ever plan to play this online, so please factor that in to your recommendations.

So which is it? ESPN or EA's offering?

Oh and is Operation Sports still the best review site for sports games?

Right now I'm working through ESPN's offering--pretty damn solid, if not realistic...

Gives you pretty good control over everything, even moreso if you go into general manager mode.

If you're talking XBox, signs point to NCAA March Madness 2005... mainly because ESPN College Hoops 2K5 is so buggy:

That's one example of unhappiness with College Hoops, and it's from a gamer who kinda focuses on sports.

Of course, if you've elected to take part in the EA boycott / million gamer march / mass fast, then College Hoops is your only alternative... buggy or no.

I haven't run into those freezing issues in the PS2 build.
