I mostly drink beer.
Its nice and refreshing, you can have several of them and it only gets you tipsy rather than drunk, and it's good on its own or combined with almost any meal.

I do like gin though.
Also love Pisco which I think classifies as a brandy.

Peruvian pisco sour is the king of cocktails.

I picked whiskey, but I could easily pick beer over it on most occasions. Both types of alcohol have such great variety, but the versatility of beer is basically unmatched. And slamming cold beers on a hot ass summer day is literally one of the greatest experiences a person could ever enjoy.

...but then again, bourbon.

I can't do beer, or generally stick away from it, because of the hops. If I have beer with hops I vomit, so I just don't do beer at all. Ciders I'll do here and there.

My preference, then, is whiskey and cola. Delicious every time.

That said I vote wine. I don't know what it is about wine, it simply works as a dinner item in most cases. Give me a cab sav with most meals and I'm delighted.

I do like beer and the sheer variety. And you can have lots before you get drunk and the hangovers aren't as bad.

But, especially these last few years, it has bloated me up whenever I drink it. And beer shits are fucking disgusting; you don't get that with other alcohols.

The other thing I love about wine is going to vineyards. We have a few good wine areas in Australia and going to visit and do a bunch of wine tastings is awesome. Sitting in beautiful surroundings tasting great wines and told about how they are made is just really good fun.

Vodka is the king. A good vodka can be drank as it is, and it can also mix with variety of other drinks. Personally, I like to mix vodka with Cola, altough it hits like a truck after a few shots.

I'm don't drink often, but if I do I'd prefer a red wine, ideally a French or Italian because they produce the best wines on earth.
