Best Gaming combo

Mine is The PS5 and Gaming laptop. The PS5 is good for local multiplayer sports games and stationary gaming along with exclusives. My gaming laptop good for portability, retro gaming, gamepass and jrpgs/anime/fighting games. My gaming laptop is more of a personalized gaming experience plus I do other things besides gaming.

What are your favorite combos?

PC and steamdeck

PS5/Switch/Mac for me

I just don't mess with Microsoft in any capacity.
I'm still on windows 10 and refuse to upgrade because I hear how much of a shit show windows is. But I can't do a Mac it's overpriced and still doesn't match the gaming ability to a windows pc. Only thing Apple I have is my phone.

Mac mini @ $599 is very reasonably priced for the power, and you get an OS that runs circles around Windows at everything that isn't gaming.

I play basic games on Mac and the high-end stuff on console.

I've got a gaming laptop but 99% of my gaming is on the PS5 Pro. Steamdeck has been fun but i'm not using it anywhere near as much as I thought I would, but I didn't pay that much for it so i'm not gonna complain. I'm mostly using it to play Switch games at this point.

Switch 2 and PS5 Pro if it's limited to 2.
However, I usually just get everything.
Same but now that I'm getting older and less time for gaming my switch and series X are collecting dust. Also now that I'm having a kid now only way I'm getting a switch 2 is if they want one later down the line. I don't know I've out grown Nintendo consoles tbh. As for series X my gaming laptop is more of a gamepass machine now.

No they perform great if it's not gaming. But for someone like me it serves no purpose. I can game and still work on my gaming laptop.

Wait till you play Donkey Kong Bananza :D

PC + Nintendo is objectively the best answer, unless you care a lot about the handful of Sony exclusives that haven't made it to PC.

Other than the few like Mario, Zelda and Smash don't care for Nintendo consoles. PlayStation 5 is basically a sports and shooter console for me which you can't play a lot of those on switch 2.

Base PS5 and PC for me. Truth be told, since getting a new PC, I am only keeping the PS5 around in case a game from my favourite series appears on the platform as an exclusive.

PC and switch 2. You dont need anything else. Sony games are coming to PC aswell and this gen is so fucking lame from them so you dont really missing out on anything

Switch 2 and Steam Deck. Plus I have an aged desktop gaming PC and a MacBook.

Switch 2 is great for Nintendo's exclusives and local multiplayer. I like the catalog of PC games available to play portably around my house too.

I've owned both an Xbox Series X and PS5 at times this generation but have sold both of them. Great systems with great libraries each of them, but I only have so much time to play and only need a couple systems to suffice; plus my tastes have changed to more smaller scale gameplay focused games.

PC + Nintendo console and it covers pretty much almost every game available.
For me right now, its still PC + PS5 untill games like GT7, Bloodborne/ Demons Souls get ported, as i dont care for any Nintendo IPs.

For me personally it's PlayStation and PC.
I've been gaming on both platforms since I was a little kid and I enjoy both experiences pretty equally though I would say I prefer consoles more overall.

I get why most a lot of people would default to a pairing like Switch + PC but I'm not a huge Nintendo person. I love Zelda a lot, and I like Fire Emblem and Pikmin but that is essentially it and I probably have 200 hours total on my Switch and I've used my Switch 2 for probably 5 hours? Maybe a little more.

I'm a person who prefers to open everything though. I currently have a capable PC (4070S+5600x), PS5 Pro, Series X, Switch 2, and old consoles (PS1/2/3/4, PSP/Vita, GC & OG Xbox) and I would prefer if everybody made a compelling product next gen so I continue to own them all assuming I can continue to afford it.

Amateurs...

The best gaming combo is Mario Kart, Women and Beer. Add in a willingness to loose the odd race and that sucker pays for itself.

PC and a Switch 2

If FF games, Ratchet and Clank games, and Stellar Blade games were actually true PS exclusive than I would easily have picked it over Switch 2 but they aren't.

I own Series X, PS5 Pro, Switch 2 and gaming PC but find myself mainly gaming on PC nowadays along with Switch 2. Next gen consoles have been extremely disappointing in terms of 1st party releases.
