Never tried Padone's or Bonello's, but I do love me some Papa John's with that garlic sauce.

Domino's is serviceable. Pizza Hut and Little Ceasar's are not eatable.

OP is an Italian mobster.
You being a member of the Yakuza should know it’s imperative I keep a low profile. Expect several shattered Nintendo consoles beneath your sheets Kojima

Pizza Hut really does the trick sometimes when you order pan pizza with extra, extra cheese I think it was. It’s been decades since I went that route but when they put a lot of sauce and a ton of cheese it’s like +2-3 pts for Pizza Hut imo

Best I've ever had was from a small pizza place a few towns over from me. It's amazing and my second favorite is far away from it. Pepperoni, Green/black olives, yellow peppers, bacon.

womfalcs3 womfalcs3 also just so you know, that “garlic sauce” is simply a gang of soybean oil and a pinch of garlic iirc

if you value your brain, your penis, your lack of plump tits, and overall your manhood, then i must suggest that you refrain from the soy homey

Maybe predictable, but the best pizza I've had was indeed in Naples. Half of it is the quality of the ingredients and half of it is the right human touch. The best pizza I've had outside Naples was in Vienna, which has a lot of Neapolitan pizzerias (the pizza there is better than for example Florence, easily).

What state is Naples in?

Homemade. The fresh ingredients elevate the experience, even if you follow a simple recipe with only a few toppings. There's a food truck in the area that gets it pretty close, though.
I make my own quite often too, but it's not the same as from a stone oven, the pizza simply cooks/bakes differently at that temperature and with the direct heat conduction from below.

I'm no expert, but I've been able to replicate the radiant heat + direct heat in a home oven by using a thick baking stone. For doughs that need steam, a pan with water placed below is acceptable. The high heat is crucial for sure.

I also live in Michigan so it's not like I have access to true centers of pizza perfection. Some tasty places in the area but nothing like what is available in larger cities, for sure.

Best pizza I had was in New York but I don't remember the name of the place.

These days Metro pizza is really good. I also like Roundtable pizza because it tastes like chain pizza made in the 80s. My friend says it tastes like Pizza Hut from the 80s and I agree.

JareBear: Remastered JareBear: Remastered you should try Pizza Inn if you can find one. They started the cracker crust thing that everyone copies today.

Domino's is actually good over here. Definitely not the best I ever had, but it sure is when it comes to a giant chain.

Some proper (local) Italian one will always be better.

Marcos Pizza is really good, but family owned business... there’s a local place that I would say is the best in this area hands down. We aren’t from around here so we try out different places and yeah, that’s definitely the best pizza. Been wanting to find a good burger place, but so far fast food would be Freddys... with another local family owned business being top class (so far, we haven’t tried others yet).

It's relative, right?

My favorite pizzas were from a small place in the town I was born, but how can we compare?

What I can do is post is the flavors I like the most, which you can find at any pizza place anywhere in Brazil.

"Portuguesa"
Ham, eggs, peas, onions, black olives and mussarela

"Marguerita"
Traditional Italian pizza: Mussarela, parmesan, tomatoes, basil/marjoram

"Frango com Catupiry"
Mussarela, shredded chicken, catupiry (kind of a cream-cheese, but has a more premium cheese flavor to it)

Pizza Hut cheeseburger pizza circa 1992
They also had a Steak Lovers pizza with A1 sauce back in the early 90's that was amazing as well.

80's Round Table and Shakey's Pizza was amazing. I've been back to both places since and the pizza just isn't as good anymore. I also loved sbarro's combo pizza, which was like a pizza sandwich, I would get everytime I went to the mall.

Best pizza I've had now would have to be this local place in Olympia, WA called Brewery City Pizza.
