Even thou Retro was without a lot of their big heads, they prove that still got and launch this amazing game

Personal note not really related to DKCR: Nintendo got back GoldenEye, they showed the new Zelda and a new hardware, the 3DS. Sony showed a new Killzone, Kevin Butler gave the best speech ever, and "a new hardware", the PS Move. Microsoft showed Halo Reach, Gears 3, and their new hardware, the Kinect - nice idea, but poorly executed, but still

It was peak gaming event, and we will probably never see anything like that anymore. It's a travesty

Worst generation of consoles by far.

An absolutely incredible game, IMO. I rarely complete games twice. I played through this game twice. Once on the 3DS version, once on the Switch. It just feels good to play.
