Krysta from the Kit & Krysta Podcast attended GDC recently and gives her thoughts on a Donkey Kong Bananza panel.

Lot's of technical discussion in regards to how they leveraged Mario Odyssey to make this game. According to the developers it is more fun to destroy that which is beautiful.

Man this game was so much fun to play, I think put around 65 hours to 100% everthing and I love every minute of it.

Interesting that Nintendo themselves don't view this game as a 3D Platformer. Apparently they see it as more of an action game. Guess that settles that debate lol.
