Elder Scrolls VI and Oblivion Remaster are easily the best there by far. The rest are either alright or bad.

But I still agree they're going towards a golden era cause of Fallout 3 Remake next year and Elder Scrolls VI 2 years later.

Well, the output is starting to improve, but Starfield and Redfall hit with a thud.

The direction is trending toward better releases, so I'm happy.

ES Online predates the Bethesda buyout.
Starfield spent the majority of dev time outside of XGS influence, and wound up to be irrelevant compared to the impact a new IP from Bethesda Game Studios should have.
Ghostwire Tokyo = came out on PlayStation as a timed exclusive and was irrelevant and mediocre
Deathloop = Irrelevant and polarizing at best
Indiana Jones game and went, and failed in terms of sales
Oblivion = yet another REEEEEEmake
Blade and ES6 even close to being out
Doom is Doom.

Surprised you didn't include Hi-Fi Rush.

Honestly, only thing I'm interested in from BGS is DooM, Blade, Dishonored, PREY, Wolfenstein and Quake.

You listed Starfield twice, when it hardly was worth mentioning once. You left out Redfall. You listed two games that aren't out and a third that may have not even started production

You listed an MMO that had already been out for years. And you listed two first year PlayStation exclusives that you're crediting Microsoft for.

The acquisition of ZeniMax Media was formally completed on March 9, 2021 and we got since then Ghostwire (announced 2019), Starfield (announced 2018), Deathloop (in development since 2018), Hi-Fi Rush (in development since 2017), Indiana (announced january 2021) and the only "Bethesda Game since MS take over" is Redfall (lol) and soon Doom Dark Ages.
Wow, id software brings out a Doom game:messenger_face_screaming:
Just look at Arkane Studios and at their games before (Dishonored 1+2, Prey or Deathloop) MS acquistion and the one (Redfall) after.
And dude, listening Blade without any info..we don't even know if it will be canceled like the movie.
Why naming TES Online, a game from 2014?
Why stopping there?

Starfield was my most disappointing game of the past decade. I bought it Day 1 despite having a GP sub. Turned out to be neutered, poorly written, boring, loading screen-infused and soulless.

2014 to 2017 Bethesda is the definition of on fire:
  • The Elder Scrolls: Online
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order
  • The Evil Within
  • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
  • Fallout 4
  • Doom
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition
  • Dishonored 2
  • Prey
  • Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
  • The Evil Within 2
  • Wolfenstein: The New Colossus
Just by taking into account how disappointing Starfield was, their lineup from the past few years doesn't have anything to do against the golden days of 2014 to 2017.

If you say so.

Most of those I own or have played were as mediocre as it gets. Elder Scrolls not my thing, but fingers crossed the new Doom is better than it looks in trailers.

The Oblivion remake seems to be a true gift for the fans, and Indy felt the same. Can't say the same for anything else on that list, especially Starfield. Sorry not sorry.
I hope Doom ends up being great and Blade too, but I can't be too confident about these either because I disliked Eternal and Arkane has been shitting the bed for years now. I hope they get better overall because they are an IP powerhouse but man.

So you're saying development of Redfall started in 2021?

Crediting Bethesda for the Oblivion Remake is like crediting Rockstar for the GTA Definitive Edition, misleading and ignores who actually did the work.

Erm, who's the publisher again?

What kind of OP is that?
Listed DLC for Starfield, Elder Scrolls Online is from 2014, VI trailer from 2018? Yeah contgrats Bethesda... Blade and Doom aren't out.

Oblivion remake has been a success but lets not go crazy here. Starfield (and its DLC) ended up polarizing. Deathloop and Ghostwire were okay but like farts in the wind. Blade and TESVI haven't gotten more than an announcement trailer so not sure how we can include them here. The TESVI trailer also dropped almost 7 fucking years ago and we've not had a peep since. The only other things i'd consider as successes from a quality POV are Indiana Jones and probably Doom, as the latest trailer looked amazing.

Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 are beyond 10/10

Dishonored 2 was a 10/10 or 9/10 and its expansion was pretty great too.

2025 to 2030 would be even better, going beyond a golden age.

Oblivion Remake
Fallout 3 Remake next year
Dishonored 3 next year hopefully
Dishonored 3 DLC
Elder Scrolls VI in 2027 hopefully or maybe even 2026
Fallout 5 in 2028? 2029?
Another Fallout Remake remake maybe NV or Morrowind. Really want to see a Morriwind or New Vegas remake

Easy there.

ESVI isn't even close to release yet. Bethesda haven't really been on fire with their games recently. Fallout 4 was mid and Starfield was pretty poor.

Let's wait and see with that one before we start riding their dicks.

They were always good and still are. Starfield is fucking amazing if you embrace what it is aiming for. I don't know what the problem was with Tango but they shouldn't have closed it, because both Tokyo Ghostwire and especially Hi Fi Rush were great games.

The only game in the OP image I'm really interested in playing is Doom but I recognise a lot of people play the other stuff. I would like a new dishonoured however.

And I also recognise their output has been impressive especially in this Day and age. I'm glad they're back to day 1 on ps5 because it'll make it far more likely they can continue to pump the games out.

Games like death loop launching only on ps5 or star field not launching on ps5 doesn't do them any Favours.

Calling TES 6 "the best" is pretty bold considering it hasn't even released so much as an actual trailer.

I guess, I didn't care about most of their games before, I still don't care about it.

I played Indy though on PC, I just thought that it's a bad game.
