I am looking to buy one of the two pairs of headphones, but I’m not sure which one suits me better or which is the best overall. If anyone has tried either or both, can you please chime in with your opinions and thoughts? It would go a long way in helping me make a really tough decision! Thank you so much.

This isn't even a question. Get the Sony. Far better battery, better sound quality, more comfortable and people will see them as less worthy of theft as people tend to steal Bose, Apple or Skullcandy for some god forsaken reason.

I've got the XM3's and they're freaking awesome. Based on that, I assume the improvements in the XM4's (Ability to pair more than one device at a time, improved call quality, etc.) make them the best option available for this range of product.

Maybe the Apple headphones would be worth it if the above did not exist?

Get the XM4's. Your ears will thank you later.
