Beyond Belief: Fact Or Fiction

yes that show was cool but it died way back in 99 or 00. I saw a similar copycat show few weeks or months ago on some canadian channel.

In Germany there are 4 "Beyond Belief" shows. The name here is X-Factor.

There are:
X-Factor - Das Unfassbare (Fact or Fiction)
X-Factor - Die 5. Dimension (The Paranormal Borderline)
X-Factor - Wahre Lügen (German production; a really bad show!)
X-Factor: Die wahre Dimension der Angst (The Scariest Places on Earth)

I liked all three shows, only "Wahre Lügen" (translated: True lies) was really bad!

The show was ok. My problem was I could never stick around for the whole hour, so I would miss the last 5min where they said something was real or not

IMO, i think the documentaries (ala unsolved mysteries) about weird shit are better than the mini-stories in shows like beyond belief; fact or fiction

I only saw the show once... well, I watched the first half of it at least... didn't seem too bad, would prefer it to some other stuff on. I used to watch Unsolved Mysteries a lot when I was youner...

I loved the show. My favourite episodes was the one about the "Red Hand" (where someone's bloody hand left a print on a wall, couldn't get erased, and in the same room the guy who bloodied up the other guy died with a red hand imprint on his neck) or the "Gun that didn't shoot" (where the mother bought a gun, heard someone broke in, started shooting the loaded gun but the gun wouldn't fire, and it turned out it was her son sneaking into the house cause he forgot his key).... awsome, and both true ones.

I hated the false ones, cause 99% of the time it was obvious it was fake. Their main mistake they kept making were telling stories where no one could possibly substantiate it.

I thought the "Titan" story was mysterious. Some years before the Titanic crashed against an ice mountain, an author wrote a book called "Titan".

I loved that show. My mom and I would watch and and bet on if the story was real or not. My dog is actually named after a dog from one of the stories. The one about the dog dying and then coming back, Wheezer. :D

Its be cancelled and brought back soooo many times. I hope they give it another chance in the near future.

I thoght the "dog" story was bad.

The German RTL2 (TV channel) cut some stories, because they were too violent. But on the Austrian ORF cou could see them.

I thing Jonathan Frakes was much better than these grey hair fool. :D

Yeah, it was a bit sappy. But I needed a dog name, and it just seemed right.

Heh, the first old guy was the one who married Barbra Streisand, heh...

At the end of the show, sometimes you just really REALLY wanted it to be true... you're like someone watching the dying minutes of a basketball game... "come on come on, be fact be fact be fact BE FACT BE FACT YESSSSSSSS!!!!"

"you savin' your money for a facelift?"
"youre so cheap, you wouldn't pay a compliment"
