Pulp Fiction 30th Anniversary

My dad rented it from the local video store in 1995 and let me watch it with him. I wasn't even 13 yet.

And then my mom just happened to walk in during the scene where Travolta is shooting up

Her meltdown was historic and I didnt get to see the movie in full until two years later at a friends house :messenger_tears_of_joy:
Sounds like the wife every time she catches me and the daughter watching horror movies lol she's only 12 (tbf I keep it non gore non sex/drug type scarey movies) still you get the occasional scene that's outside her pay range and it's always those scenes when the wife walks in and gives me a bollocking

Anyways I'm long overdue a rewatch of Pulp Fiction, been years an absolute classic, makes me miss the old Bruce

My Boss at the videostore asked me to only play the movie after 9 PM because I would sometimes play it at 9 AM on saturdays while parents & their kids were browsing for Free Willy, Barney and The Lion King.

An amazing film that was robbed of many Oscars. The 4k uhd transfer and audio for those interested is perfection!

In french but you will get it. (In 1994, you had the choice between Leon, the mask, pulp fiction and Forrest Gump once at the theater)

That was the good years

ForAcademicPurposes ForAcademicPurposes He was doing some wild fucking roles in the 90s before he seemed to settle down a little.

True Romance
Immortal Beloved
Dracula
State of Grace
Romeo is Bleeding

His role of Gordon in the Bale Batmans is probably the most normal Ive ever seen him act :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Edit: Forgot he was Lee Oswald in JFK too. Fucker looked just like him :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I usually don't want to watch the behind the scenes of my favorite movies (unless it's a porno) but it's kick ass that he pulled a black dude into his trailer and asked if he could record his voice.

Hey whatever it takes! That's why he's as good as he is!

In that interview he talks about Quentin as if he was directing the film instead of Tony Scott. I dont doubt he was probably on set all the time at least.
