BF4 - (CE-34878-0) ERROR

You don't need to be empathetic towards me.
Anyone else receiving this error everyone they try to access BF4? I get booted back to the PS4 XMB and prompted to send an error report to Sony.

I can't access single or multiplayer and it corrupts my BF4 data every time.

Same here. I can play one match of multi and then it crashes. The only way I can get it load again is by a reinstall.

I notice it crashes as soon as it says thank you for adding..... Then kicked out.
 
I really hope this is a PSN problem and not the game being in the same state as the PC SKU.

Actually, it would be in worse state because it requires a reinstall. Yikes
 
Not getting any errors, just not able to get into any games. When I do it's a server with 10 people, and it boots me like one minute in.

As far as I know all versions including 360/PS3 having been crashing and locking up, seems like more of the same.
 
Sorry console fans, we haven't finished beta testing.

On PC we've been experiencing sound loss, game crashes, and other fun features for well over two weeks. Welcome to the party!

At least you can access for a bit. I can't get past the menu without it crashing and corrupting all data.
 
I'm sure all this stuff is going to be sorted out over the course of the weekend. Just have some patience and play some SP while it gets worked on.
 
people bitch and complain yet buy the next BF game at launch every single time!

i think it averages about 2 months before a BF game is in a playable state.

Haha, I can't even play single player. It crashes before I can press/access it.
 
What happens when the game data gets corrupted if you downloaded the game off PSN?

You need to redownload the entire game?

Every Battlefield game has launched with issues. I was there at launch for Battlefield 3, as far as I remember, and it was not this bad. Siege of Shanghai is fundamentally unplayable due to crashes. Golmud Railway and Lancang Dam are permanently sound bugged. I haven't played a match on Hainan Resort that wasn't crippled with rubberbanding. Not one.

4/10 maps being borderline if not literally unplayable is not a usual Battlefield launch. It's a busted, unfinished game.

The worst thing for me is their pre-order bonuses is whole fucking map pack.

I'm not getting it at launch, but not being able to get he map pack for free makes me not want to buy it post launch (ever).
 
The game is terribly buggy on PC (to the point of being almost unplayable at times) so, congrats - you're joining the PC Gaming Master Race!
 
Getting the same error here. Won't even load the BF4 main menu, then kicks me back to the PS4 home screen and prompts to send an error report. Load the game back up, says save data is corrupt, then wash, rinse, repeat.
 
My friend txted me the same thing that he cant get online in BF4. I am still waiting on UPS.... Hope this is fixed soon, I see streams on Twitch but honestly i'll probably try KZ first since I already played alot of this on 360.

His copy is physical FWIW.

EA/DICE fucked up one of their recent server patches. Basically rolled it out without testing it. In a mad dash to get it stable.

The BF4 launch has been ALMOST as bad as SimCity. Except its playable and fun. Still a hilarious disgrace.



What's hilarious is that during the "BETA" Siege of Shanghai was absolutely playable with no problem. On release? Client and server crashes, sound bugs, rubberbanding.
 
Greedy EA pushing shit out the door half assed. Worst company ever 3 years running, gotto be some kind of a record on this.
 
I was getting the same thing. I deleted my battlefield save from the system storage on the OS as it mentioned something about corrupted data on the BF4 main menu after one of the crashes.

I then deleted and reinstalled the game and just finished playing a couple matches of TDM and Domination without seeing the errors again. I imagine I'll see them again soon enough though... :(
 
I am having the same error but for some reason the ps4 will eject the game for no reason.

For example. I'm playing resogun and I hear 2 beeps and my disc is ejected. Weird?! Has this happened to anyone else?

I haven't had the disc eject yet, but at this point I imagine anything is possible.
