Endurance competitions make the BB live feeds worth having. Usually.

The last endurance competition in BB8 was worth the entire season's price alone.

It's just a matter of whether the winner can keep it secret, they'll strip that power away if it's not.

I remember Boogie talking about the power after his expired, and he said they made it very clear to him that even a slight hint to his power would result in it being stripped on the spot.
 
best case scenario is russell or jeff winning this hoh and teaming up against the nerd/roid/baby team getting one of them out this week and another the following week.

Just FYI, the live feeds are still not up. This is kind of peculiar, they're usually up right away when an endurance competition is taking place.

So no telling what's going on right now, we won't find out the status of things 'til they pop the feeds on.

EDIT: Literally 2 seconds after I posted that, they briefly popped up. It looked like one person was gone but I'm not sure which.

Nope, endurance competitions are the ONLY competitions they show. They blackout the others, but endurance is open to online/Showtime viewing.

Kevin is the only one out, it appears.

This combined with Coup is, wow. This first few weeks was worth wading through for watching the rest of such a legitimately, faith-in-G-d-restored, miraculous turn of events.

It's to determine which houseguest will receive the Coup d'Etat power.

It gives that houseguest the power to replace one or both nominees on eviction night. The power can only be used once, and the winner has the ability to use it either before the next eviction or the following eviction. Or not at all.

The winner has to keep his/her power a secret until it is used, though.
 
Thanks. I remember that was such a bust from All-Stars since everyone listened to booge and doctor will. Hopefully it works much better now.


One thing I don't like about the non-HOH powers is that it makes HOH seem less worth it.
 
If Jeff gets the HOH and the Coup D'Etat....Insane.

Jeff and Russ trying to work deals with each other.

Russ says they want the same guy out. Jeff says he agrees, and that he won't put up Russ, but that Jeff can't trust that Russ will do the same because of the past few weeks.

They're actively talking deals.
 
Seems the deal talks have ended. They seem to agree that they won't put each other up, but neither wants to concede. Jeff: "I trust you, but I'm too low on the pole to give this up. I don't trust Jessie with it." Jeff proposed rock-paper-scissoring it, Russ declined. Both agree they'll just play the game and hang on.
 
Jeff more and more is trying to propose ways to end this early, but nobody can agree on anything. He asked Jordan for an idea, she told him to just play it out...very smart of her to just encourage him. Jeff: "We're gonna be here for hours, we're uncomfortable!" Jordan: "Just play it out!"
 
Jeff sounding pretty desperate. "Rock paper? Rock paper?" Russell continues to decline.

Jeff asked everyone to go inside so they could talk in private. Jordan again tells them that they need to just play it out, and Jeff tells her to go inside.

Russ: "You can keep playing, but you're not gonna win. I swear, you're safe."

Jeff drops out, Russell just won it.

So that's that, it's done.
