That's because you are. I could never pull for a whiny, backstabbing bitch like Ronnie. He's the epitome of everything I can't stand.

LAME!!!!

I voted Ronnie just for the chaos that would ensue.

Ronnie just irritates me because he can dish it, but can't take it. Case in point: he lies and stabs everyone in the back and proclaims that he is the mastermind of the game, but once everyone confronts him, and Russel made trouble with him, he cries for his wife. Idiot. :lol

Ronnie and Lydia are out too. Michelle is barfing, it's kinda gross.
Stop giving me boners at work dude.

I really can't decide who to vote for. Jeff is the obvious good guy who should get it. However, I seriously don't think he's smart enough to understand how to use it to its fullest potential. I could see him just randomly using it to save Jordan yet again or something, instead of concocting an evil master plan.

I hate to say it, but it would probably be most interesting if Ronnie got it. If he has even 1% of his head unbrainwashed, he should really be able to fuck up the house in a good way.

If I was in the house, I'd take my partner (in Jeff's case, Jordan) and just start acting like unabridged assholes to get both of us on the block. Then right before voting, BAM, fucking put up Jessie and Natalie and just roll on the floor laughing.

It sounds like
Russell is DEFINITELY nominating Ronnie with the intention of Ronnie going home. He's talking to Michelle right now - basically telling her the case as to why Ronnie has to go, and he's been doing that with several people in the house all day. He's telling her about Ronnie's constant plans to try to get rid of Michelle, including today.

It's also worth noting that
he told the athletes that they're still his team and that he won't be nominating them, telling them it'll be Ronnie alongside Lydia or Kevin (the latter two whose gameplay Russell doesn't at all respect).

I wonder if this has the potential to blow up in his face, putting up Ronnie against a relative 'nobody,' as Ronnie might be able to get votes. This is why Russell has been trying to get Michelle guarantee to him that she's voting out Ronnie. She said she'll do it.

If you don't know who won HoH, don't read this because I'm not spoiler tagging the whole fucking thing.

Yeah, he's in a pretty big pickle. He needs to distance himself from the athletes to have any chance in the house. However, if he takes 1 or 2 of them out, he's going to be the main target when it turns back into the "gotta get the strongest people out" game style.

On top of getting Jessie or Natalie out, you have to get at least one of the Lydia/Kevin/Chima bunch because they're the ones who will just do whatever the last person told them do. Meaning, they're always going to vote the same way and you don't want 3 random votes ruining your plan.

It's impossible to do in one week, so I'd probably put Jessie and Lydia up with Natalie in the pocket for PoV replacement. Both those girls will follow anything Jessie says anyway, so I don't think he'd gain any alliance power over one or the other if he was forced to choose between them to evict.

When do they find out who get the Coup? That would definitely affect nominations too, but I'm assuming those will happen first.

Julie said last night the house will not find out who has the "special power" until the eviction ceremony (so either Next Thursday or the Thursday after that as it is only a two week power) and, in case of added suspense and excitement for America and the viewer at home, I hope WE don't find out until that very exact moment as well (but you know that won't happen).

Also how is Production going to keep the secret from being slipped out by the chosen one, be it a drunken unveiling or just foolishly trusting a person in their group (which would be STUPID as you cant trust anyone in this game). Is it in their contract that they can't let this secret slip, are they responsible for that in anyway?

That's the rules.

NO ONE in the house finds out until (or IF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) it's used. And if the winner reveals that they won, the power gets taken away.

:D

:D

:D

Yea, but like I also said, it SUCKS that WE will probably know WAY before then. I can't imagine how they will not tell the audience especially when they had that text message vote thing (people want to know what they spent their money on right away usually or they will be PISSED and/or BB will want to use this as a way to get ratings for the show (u know this person will be making diary confessions about the power and his/her thoughts on situations as they play out and they're not just going to NOT show that and you know it will add some extra spice to the HOH 1on1 conversations Julie has if the person chosen gets HOH).

Which SUCKS because I as a loyal viewer REALLY want to be surprised by this "twist" and I know I won't be. It sucks. :(

I agree. I really like Jeff (I did vote for him), but I don't think he's the smartest player. I think that is what makes this season undesirable in a way, because there really are no really smart players on the same level as Will, Dan, and even Dick. Jeff and Michelle are my favorites, but even though Michelle is an intelligent person, I don't think she's the best at playing the game either.

In short, I'm just hoping for a megaton with the coup. It better be used to its full potential. :D

I don't know why I keep coming in here and ruining the show for myself but revealing the spoiler tags is way too tempting for me to do.

That's dumb. One of them should of been backed doored. Oh well, I'd love for BOTH to be gone and SOON!!!
I hate the trend that is becoming the "backdoor." I think whomever you want to go home should be nominated and play the game how it was intended to be. I love these choices. See, if one of them wins it, the other goes home. Simple.

Not really. If one person wins in the person being put in their place is more than likely then one that usually goes home making it highly unpredictable. Someone usually always gets back doored in this game now whether they like it or not.

Jessie and Natalie were earlier pretty much conceding the fact that they'd be parting ways with Ronnie, to keep things harmonious in the house - since they didn't have the votes anyway. But tonight, they're trying to flip it up.

The plan to get votes hasn't gone over well so far (they didn't make much progress in their talk with Michelle, and they plan to talk to Jeff and Jordan later). But what they really want is for Ronnie to win the veto today and convince Russell to pop Kevin on the block...and at the end of the day, they've acknowledged that it looks like they'll just have to let Ronnie walk if he doesn't win the veto, as to not make more enemies this week. "Losing him doesn't help us, but it won't earn us new enemies either."

They seem to want Ronnie around for his value as a constant human shield, 'til the day he is evicted. He'll always be a bigger target than either of them, they figure.

I don't think they've got a shot at making it happen, but I figured they'd try to give it one more shot.

ughhhhh,
Russell. I CALLED IT. Well, at least Ronnie's ass is going home.

Getting rid of
Kevin is a dumb idea. He can't win anything, and he makes it so blatantly obvious that he's just laying low. He's good to keep around as a pawn later on.

So what are the chances of Russel back dooring Jessie?

yeh i dont know why he didnt choose him.

at first i thought he cant do it since theyre on the same team but now have realized the cliques are no more.

Anyone else HATE that under Ronnie's name it says "Video Game Expert"?

YES! That bugs me so much. It makes no sense. "Video Game Expert." Could it mean he knows a lot of shit about video games? Which games are awesome / which suck... or does it mean that he pwns people and plays really well? Either way its just dumb.

Fuck Jessie. I hope he gets booted next time. He is so full of himself; someone seriously needs to punch him in his ugly face. I'm tired of this guy owning the house.

I really can't stand Chima either. And which producer thought Kevin would be a good pick? Like I said, Beau 2.0. He can't do anything.

Casey's exit was gold, btw. "Go make Jessie's sandwich." Ahaha. :lol

I could really see that happening in a subsequent season, and soon. Too many seasons in a row (three?) have made it the basis of the entire game play and it's becoming almost unfair. I mean it's almost come to the point that you don't have to do anything in the house.

I'm still only watching the CBS shows, so my reactions are way late. However, fuck Chima and her "who's the rat" comment after one person went against the house in the Casey/Jordan eviction. Has she not watched any other seasons to understand how stupid the brainwash game plan ends up playing out?

I'm not getting why Russel is trying to turn on Jessie/Chima/Natalie. I mean, you're teaming up with someone who can't spell (Jeff) and someone who has yet to be close in winning anything (Jordan). Michele is good, but she's a little ditzy and a hard read. Russel needs to keep in line with J/C/N because there is a high probability that they will be one of the winners next week. Jeff may win, but Jordan won't, And Kevin/Lydia don't do shit, and unless Michele wins, the odds are in favor of J/C/N. Why are you alienating yourself from people who are there to help you?

And he flips out all to easily. Like, I understand being mad, but he's just angry a lot, and for no good reasons. I kinda wish that he would have been backdoored during Russel's week. Would have made for more entertainment than I could stomach. He really needs to go.

In thinking about people who are next on the list to go, it looks like Chima will be gone next week if J/C/N don't win. She has Libra-syndrome where for some reason, she is always the talk of the town, and when anyone is up, she is the odds on choice to be backdoored. That's going to unfortunately be her fate unless she wins HOH and makes some deals, or wins PoV to save herself. Hell, even Jessie/Nat were suggesting her as a possible Renom if they could get
Michele
to use the Veto. She makes herself easy pickings.

Yeah, the easiest way would be to amend the rules so that you can only put someone up if they played in the veto competition, but then people would hope to not get picked since it means you're safe for the week. So the only way they can amend this is to go back to everyone playing in the veto comp. That way you have a chance at saving yourself every week.

In his case, I think it just means he's an unemployed loser.

Something needs to be done, but I can't think of the best way.

1. Go back to the original and no more ping pong ball drawing. If they're going to backdoor anyway, might as well make it more interesting.

2. Everyone plays in the veto comp.

3. Only HoH and the two noms play. That would be absolutely nuts.

4. The house votes in a replacement.

Actually, that gave me the best and most logistical idea:

5. The PoV winner gets to nominate the replacement.

I hope Ronnie goes home. I can't stand him and his silly ass face he's always making. Lydia is annoying but she and Kevin are floaters. Easy to persuade if your in power. If Jeff get's the coup d'état or wins HOH next week things in the house will definitely change. Russel get's what he want's this week and next week either Nat, Jess, or Chima can go. Getting rid of Jessie would leave Nat and Chima in the dark. They have no game plan of their own, other than to lay up under Jessie. It would be best if Russel, Jeff and Jordan partnered with Michelle since she really doesn't have a side.

I think so too but someone in this thread claims to of known him a few years back through work. Perhaps he's newly unemployed which isn't so bad.

Plus so far they've only mentioned WoW and showed him playing Wii. Neither of those would have any merit in making you an expert in the video game field imo.

But yeah, I'm assuming he's either unemployed or they're sticking with the "Video Game" schtick because it fit into the nerd clique more than "Retail Salesperson" or whatever the hell he really is.

I like both of these. The house voting the replacement makes it harder to backdoor someone, since there needs to be a consensus on who to backdoor. And the PoV winner deciding is nice, but is too much power for one person, and it doesn't stop backdooring.

It would only be too much power (and nothing more than usual) if the PoV winner was in cohoots with the HoH. If not, it would be awesome drama plus not really a backdoor. Since it wasn't the power-hungry-half-the-house-sucking-his/her-genitals HoH who made the nom, there would be less of a follower mentality to go after that person. It would be an even split between alliances. Your side nommed one, we nommed one. Let's see who wins.

Did someone already have the idea that if one of the noms wins veto, then the other just automatically goes home. I can't decide if that would be a fun rule or not. It would make the week boring as shit for the house guests.
