DUMP HASSAN?

Vince you are a fucking idiot.

What? I'm the idiot? I still make lots of money and have people kiss my ass! So, I think you've got it wrong, bud.

I'm surprised they did that with Hassan. Arab American orgs were going after the WWE because of that character because they saw it hurting the image of Arab-Americans. But the WWE took it even further. They could have kept him going along if they didn't get so extreme with it.

Even though I liked him as a heel, I hate the racially-based heel angles. I hope they turn him...but knowing the WWE they'll scrap the angle completely, or do something really really stupid (amnesia or something).

Man, Hassan was the only reason i used to watch RAW, and recently Smackdown. His mic work was great, his expression on his face had me stiches. THe bit in Royal Rumble when he entered the ring, everyone stopped and looked at him, Hassan being the cocky punk believed he could take them all on. He gave them that "look", he looked at everyone in the in ring (surrounded by about 10 guys)

Fuck sakes, he, along with Christian was the only reason to tune into this fucking retarded show.

Cocksuckers

+1 Entrace music, love it when that music hits and everyone starts booing

Word right now is that WWE is agreeing with UPN and is pretty close to dropping the Hassan character after The Great American Bash PPV. They don't want to get rid of Hassan (what's his real name again?) himself, though. I wonder what this means for Davari?

Personally I think they should just move him to RAW and make his banning on UPN part of his gimmick. :)

I think they moved him so that Davari could work in the Cruiserweight division... they could allways make him a Velocity only charachter up until Smackdown moves off of UPN in September, its only a few months away.. but honestly, they had a great gimick because Hassan was right.. then they ruined it by making it a terrorist angle.

FUCK

Me and my buddies bought tix for Smackdown next month, and hearing Hassan's music was one of the reasons!

If they keep Davari they better keep the music

this is what happens with people can't separate reality with entertainment.

Why isn't PETA all over Fear Factor for the shit they do?

Hassan will always be in my heart cause he was 1 week away from going jihad on Taker.
I thought the whole idea for Hassan's character was being wrongly grouped in my terrorist cause of his skin color and his background.

What an elegant solution. :)

Or as StoOgE mentions...make him disappear after a humiliating and "eye-opening" defeat at the PPV. He can return once Smackdown is back onto Spike, like a born again Arab that realizes the rights he has in the US, and apologizes for what he says. He can be a pro-American Arab, a hero to many Middle Easterners (hey, the WWF used to be big in the ME, they even did shows in Kuwait or Yemen). I mean, if the CIA were smart they'd ask the WWE to do this, in order to promote democracy to Arab nations (Hassan=Arab Hulk Hogan). Plus, Arab American orgs will be happy that there is finally an Arab protagonist on TV.

Again, the WWE is not that smart. :P

I would rather Hassan form a tag team with Eugene. Both could unite under the banner of hatred for Vince McMahon, the man who saddled them with horrible gimmicks.

Another WWE Name In Hot Water, Causes Problem With Veteran
Date Added: July 21, 2005

Juventud Guerrera is currently the subject of backstage heat for his actions in a recent match with Paul London. Despite being told not to do so, Guerrera used Hardcore Holly's "Alabama Slam," which, suffice it to say, did not make the veteran pleased. Holly reportedly told Rey Mysterio, who's considered Juvi's proverbial babysitter, to warn Guerrera about using the move.

Management and Paul London are also upset with Guerrera for performing the 450 splash, especially since he botched the move and landed on London's face.

A final factor in his heat with WWE comes from lowering his ring attire to reveal his upper body definition (Guerrera plans it out ahead of time and even oils his chest before matches). Road agents instructed Guerrera to keep his outfit on at all times.

They should just let Juvi have the 450 and let London break out the Shooting Star Press.

It's hard to feel sympathetic for them when they knew what Juvy is like before they signed him. He had a tryout 2 years ago where they told him to work a slow match and instead he went out and got all his shit in.

Any wrestling game under the EA sports line would blow away Oddworld. An ROH wrestling game would blow it away by even more. :D

Current rumors suggest Hassan will be sent down to OVW after SummerSlam and then be re-packaged before returning to SmackDown!

Hopefully, Randy Orton interferes in the match helping Hassan win, but then Undertaker beats the shit out of Hassan, putting him out of commission and then setting up a #1 Contender's match on a SmackDown! Something like a Battle Royal or a Fatal Four Way to determine the #1 Contender. Then have Christian win! Christian vs Batista at SummerSlam, everyone goes home happy :)

But if they did a Number 1 Contender's match, then JBL would just win :(

Christian's already on Velocity, dude. It was fun while it lasted for Capt. Charisma, tho. You just knew that Vince was never gonna give him a serious push.

No way Brock is facing Batista in his hometown. Brock would have to win for him to keep his heat and Batista would lose all his heat if he lost especially in his town.

Brock comes in as the top heel (thanks to the way he left), pushing JBL out of the title picture? That's pretty damn quick. I don't see a face vs face match either. Who knows with this company anymore. I'm still depressed about Hassan. :(

I'm pretty sure that's the way they're gonna do it. Think about it- if JBL doesn't win the title back at GAB, what then? He's lost too much. Honestly, as entertaining as the character can be, he's gotten kind of stale without the title to me. And I just can't see him winning it back. I bet he shuffles back to the midcard and has an entertaining fued with Benoit or somebody(poor Benoit :( ).

I'm now playing Hassan's theme music in my office at top volume, sans headphones, as my own form of protest. Let's see how long it takes before I get called into Human Resources again.

edit: well that didn't take long

When they call you into HR, spit on the floor and say you won't take that treatment as an Arab-Canadian.

Brock will probably lose his first match, he has to pay his due's all over again even though he'll obviously still be a main eventer. My money is still for Brock and Batista @ Summerslam, with Batista going over Brock.

I love you.

OH! And Bish, if you get called into human resources, start speaking Arabic like Daivari :D

This brought a tear to my eye.

That made my day. Man, how over was the Hulk back in his day... Shame he couldn't have left on that high.
What do you mean he still hasnt left...how many times has he had "One more Match" recently....

Vintage Hulk Hogan (complete w/ mini Stars and Stripes flag) > Hulkster of recent years (and j00!)

Such a great gimmick with SO much potential..... all flushed away. This is the guy they were grooming to be the top heel in the company. Not just Smackdown.

Sigh... way to go Vince. Your stupid ass storylines have killed it off.

Don't blame Vince!

Blame Al-Queda!

If that UK stuff never happened, no one would've said anything about it and Hassan would've kidnapped Sara last night on Smackdown.

I've read the reason he was on Smackdown along with Benoit and Regal the week before is that the WWE is trying to stack Velocity it order to give it a ratings spike rigt before they make the jump to USA. Reason being they want the ratings to be as high as possible when TNA take over the timeslot.

wha?

They dont want TNA topping Velocity's ratings.

But what difference would it make? I mean, WWE isn't going to be on Spike so who cares about how Velocity compares to TNA. If anything, they should want to put nothing on Velocity but crap so that people will get out of the habit of looking for wrestling in that timeslot on Spike.

Not they're cutting Ivory. I always thought she was one of the hottest divas...

Ivory had to know that was coming. She was already taking indy bookings and she was very critical of WWE's treatment of women in interviews recently. I am sure she will bounce on her feet doing something. I know she had some kind of impressive degree. I forgot what it was in though.
