LOS ANGELES -
Matthew McGrory, the deep-voiced 7-foot-plus actor who moved from appearances on Howard Stern's radio show to a high-profile role as a gentle giant in the movie "Big Fish," has died. He was 32.

McGrory died Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles, said director Drew Sky, who was working with him on his current movie, a biopic of wrestler-turned-actor Andre the Giant. Paramedics determined he died of apparent natural causes, police said.

Only 32 and dying of natural causes....man, that just doesn't sound right. We're just not built to live that large.

people that big usually have loads of medical problems. i think its cause their internal organs are unnaturally large or something like that. who knows. it really sucks that his life was cut so short.

The human body can handle being that large, but only if the growth is proportional. Take Shaq for instance - he'll likely live a normal healthy life.

Unfortunately for Matthew McGrory and Andre the Giant, I'm pretty sure they suffered from Acromegaly (a form of Gigantism or Giantism if you like). They weren't simply big.

Sad news :(

BTW - I was just about to see The Devil's Rejects (sequel to Rob Zombie's, House of a 1000 Corpses). I'm not sure if I want to watch if for a while now.

why can't we escape giantism

fly to space bean, travel at light speed with your babies, and come back for the cure. petra will miss you, but when you come back you can play the role of Andre The Giant 2.0, directed by Uwe Boll.

i know all those words, but that post does not make any sense.
