Holy shit, how do people take this freak for real? His book of poetry is the only thing more embarassing than that picture. :lol :lol :lol :lol

p.s. did you ever think about not wasting your time on coming into a thread for an artist/band you dislike?

I'm a nerd. I can't help it.

Seriously, I just had my glasses broken yesterday by a bully named William.

It... it... LEAKED?

OMGWTF

Ignore Bell Woods. He's worse than I was a year or two ago when I trolled Tool/APC threads. Now (And Then) is awesome. And so is Mina Loy. The lyrics remind me of the thought that went into writing I Am One in a parallel universe, heh. AOTY 2005. It surely will poop all over Mary Star of the Sea.

Yeah, I'm seeing B0lly on the 28th of June at Webster Hall. I hope there aren't a bunch of mall goths there.. one thing I hate about going to these types of concerts are the fans. This NIN event I went to.. my God.

I think we all get that you don't like Billy Corgan, EBW. So how about letting the people who DO like his music enjoy this thread, and you can go surf the web for Corgan-in-a-dress pictures to your heart's content?

But how ever else would he get that false feeling of superiority he loves so much?

It's not really about feeling superior.

If you were walking down the street with what you thought was a chocolate ice cream cone, i'd want to let you know you were licking a turd too.

FYOB. For your own benefit.

This + EBW's Corgan-o-rama = ROOFLES :lol

Thanks Jinx.

I never said I really appreciated Corgan's sense of style post MCIS. He's a good musician. I don't know why he put on crappy looking dresses afterwards, but hey, whatever floats your boat. Elton John dressed up like a gay pr0n star and he still got away with being successful.

Macam is right though, I think the dress is retired:

Agreed. His "Uniform" or a ZERO shirt and Silver pants so fuckin rocked. Although I miss the vintage clothing pumpkins from Siamese Dream. You swore they shopped thrift stores :p

I actually prefer Adore-era Billy the most of all. Particularly the "Ava Adore" video.. so stylish in a morbid way. And I love the red eye makeup in the "Try, Try, Try" video.

Oh, there's no doubt in my mind that we're getting the stripped down, bare bones Billy now. Between his forthcoming blog entries, his new album cover, and just his general approach to music, it's clear that the glamour is gone; but he still writes some of the best music around no matter how soft or Jesus he gets.

Should I see him play in Toronto?

Its 40 bucks Canadian :s

If you liked his past work, particularly with regards to the later stuff since he seems persistent on progressing and not just revisiting bigger times, absolutely. Both times I've seen him perform (once with SP, once with Zwan), I got great performances out of it, notably when he opts to alter songs, such as by tearing into some tangential offshoot of a jam. Of course, now that's he a solo act, I suspect things will be far more subdued, but bottom line being, you generally won't get a stale or flat concert out of his shows.

Billy: Release a high quality version of Spilled Milk (Zwan). I know you have it, the sample on the accompanying DVD is a cocktease and the bootleg versions are of miserable quality. Spilled. Milk.

macam do you have the version of spilled milk from the bbc live sessions? it is very close to CD-quality even though performed live. let me know if you're interested in it

Tell me about it. I went to the Columbus, OH concert in support of The Fragile (with A Perfect Circle) and I think me and my brother were the only "normal" people there. We didn't have makeup on, piercings, tattoos, and didn't dress all in black.

i have tickets on back to back nights to see billy at henry fonda in LA. anyone here going?

I'll be there on Tuesday I believe...Dont really wanna drop the money for two nights. Especially since I'm heading to the weenie roast today.

I've only heard Walking Shade, it's alright. I have no real expectations, which makes it all the more interesting for me. Corgan is coming to Seattle on July 18th, that old SP freak in me is very tempted to go, but The Go! Team is also playing here the same night....

Do I listen to the obsessive SP high school kid or the grown up indie snob in me? What a pickle.
