I like this one better. Kind of proves that I think all Japan games should have a JP voice track. Not that I think the VAs are terrible, but if I can't understand them, it sounds like they're performing better since it's hard for me to make the distinction
Watching this cut scene is very sad actually. I felt really really bad for the robot. I'm not sure that I want to play this game. Is the premise of this game basically that you are killing robots that think they are human?
Big Boi: She reminds of an actress I've seen in a movie.
Dan: You know the only movies you watch are porn
Big Boi looks at Dan
Dan: oh
Yep. Kazuma, Gouda, Akiyama and Majima are playable in multiplayer via free DLC.
Are they all supposed to be available now? I went to the JPSN and only found the Akiyama skin. Does anyone know if the Japanese download will work with the American version of the game?
I asked that very question yesterday and never got an answer.
"PS3 buyers will get Akiyama on February 28, Goda on March 6 and Majima on March 13. Xbox 360 buyers will get all three on March 13. The characters will be free."

Thanks. Any idea about whether or not those downloaded characters will be able to be used in the U.S. version?
And what about Kazuma?
I don't think they're usable. Someone on Gamefaqs downloaded Akiyama, but saw no trace of him on his European copy.
Kazuma is included in the first-print Japanese copies.

It wouldn't work. It's a different sku entirely. Same reason Gundam GAF has to buy dlc related to their version even though they can play together

Well then I say this, SEGA, put this shit up as DLC for us poor saps livin' in the U.S. of A! Would be a bit of promotion for Dead Souls no?

I'm surprised they didn't. They released all the Yakuza 3 and 4 stuff from Japan as a Gamestop pre-order bonus then made it so you could buy it seperately.

It's a real shame if this gets slept on.
i forget, wasn't this once listed as PC format somewhere, then that was pulled? i guess i'm putting an ounce of stock in it because Sega's been alright about porting some of their stuff this gen. no Yakuzas though, sadly...
wait, what new Contra?
Yeah, what PC rumor?Yeah, what PC rumor?
Konami showed a teaser with a giant C explosion/burn mark last E3.

Getting the PS3 version from Amazon, might need to find some people for multi soon!
I've been working my way through the 360 version. Game is absolutely awesome thus far.
I'm still curious to know how the PS3 version holds up technically. The 360 version is generally solid, but suffers from slowdown during some of the more extravagant moments. The spider boss fight dropped some serious frames, for instance.
Also, as far as I can tell, most of the cutscenes are actually realtime unlike their previous games. Is this the case on PS3 as well? There are no artifacts and plenty of slowdown during some cutscenes, so I'm inclined to believe that they are indeed realtime.
