IThat's exactly how it will turn out to be. This is not a high budget game. It will most likely come with a lot of jank which will put off many people and I'm still not sold on the world. Feels rather..empty, pointless but I guess we'll see. My expectations are extremely low for it so I won't be disappointed if it's an average jank.
