I finally killed the second boss of the Defiled dungeon. Wasn't actually all that difficult once I taught myself to be patient. Definitely the most satisfying boss of the game so far, felt great when my prey was finally slaughtered. Now to that dreaded third boss...

Ignore him. There's no need to kill him and it's pretty easy sprint past him.

Slow and easy them when you get to his tower, climb up and immediately rush him. Take the damage he deals with his gun and as you near him he will fall off the roof.

Parry window is the same but certain weapons have improved stagger level (e.g. Blunderbuss).
I'm not sure if stagger changes with upgrading.

Nope. Only

areas have them per-spawned. They will spawn anywhere if you enable coop in any area so invaders are pretty limited in the game.

You could always start doing Chalice Dungeons to find a Burial Blade there.

Good luck, I finished the defiled dungeon last night and the layer 2 and 3 bosses were pretty tough. So glad to be back to full health.

diving into the last dungeon now, hopefully finish that, kill NG+ gehrman, get the platinum tonight.
