Bloodborne PSN Pre-Load has started

Thanks to Gaf, few weeks back i came across that UK voucher deal thread so got bloodborne for £30.

Cant wait till i finish work on friday at 3pm. I stopped looking at pics/videos a while back.

Not sure when/if UK starts pre-load but i wont be actually plying till friday night when i know i can play and not worry about work next day.
 
Boo, Amazon.de didn't change the order yet, so they'll probably send it off tomorrow, which means I'm out of luck getting it before release :P I was hopeful they'll do it today but eeh.

Also, ticket for the train please.

As my first character, I want to cap STR, END, and soft-cap VIT while adding as many points as I feel like on BLD.

I was hoping to hold out for the physical release but the hype got to me. I'm on board for the midnight release.
 
So can anyone from EU confirm that they can preload the US version?

Do you think the servers are based on the version you buy, or the PSN account you play on?
Lag from EU to US could be pretty unbearable in PvP.
 
Wow, Amazon knows how to jerk a guy around. Got an email from customer service confirming my CE is scheduled for delivery tomorrow GUARANTEED.

Still haven't been charged. Still in "Pre-Order" status.

Digital sure is giving me some come hither eyes....
 
I'm running out of things to distract me before midnight. I guess I'm just going to stare at this count down for the next 10 hours
 
With the US Pre-load, it only shows you the download for about 5GB of the Main Installer and 2.96GB for the Update, in the Downloads/Notifications section.

After the 5GB portion installs, if you go to the Bloodborne icon in your games list, press the OPTIONS button on the DS4 and then go to Information, it'll show you the rest of the download remaining, along with other information.

The remaining 25GB doesn't show up in the Notification/Download menu like most other Updates/Downloads do. You can only see it in the Bloodborne Option/Information menu, AFTER you download that initial 5GB.

So far as I know.

Got Email: Your order is ready to be picked up.
Called Costumer Service: Yeah, we have confirmed that order# is charged to your card, and you can pick it up.

Rushed over to Best Buy on my lunch break.
Clerk: Yeah, it is behind my counter but it isn't ready to be picked up. Even though you already paid for it, the game still belongs to Best Buy.
Me: Wut...Can I pick it up tonight? Gamestop is selling it at 10PM across the street.
Clerk: No, we are closing at 10PM.

Sad face.

I couldn't bring myself to not get the CE, but I also couldn't bring myself to not be playing at midnight tonight, so I famously made the decision to just... let it be. let it all be.
 
And I'm officially aboard the hype train.

EU account still shows that it's over 1 day to unlock... Hopefully I can get to play it tonight.

I noticed that last night and although it may have happened with other games too I haven't seen it before. Downloaded the US game and on my UK account it says over three days left but I switch over to the US account that bought it and it's showing just over 9 hours. Not saying that hasn't before but I certainly haven't seen it before and I'm hoping that I'll be able to play it on my UK account tomorrow as that's my main account.

Oh wow, I thought he meant later today, not later tomorrow.

He should definitely make a WIP OT. Game releases in a little over 9 hours and not having an OT for 12 to 14 hours seems a bit ridiculous.

Yeah, in worst case I hope we can at least pull the internet cable after unlocking on the US side, so the system thinks it's still activated when you switch to the EU account.
Then switch online when it's released here.

Yes you can, I'm currently downloading it.

Created US PSN account, bought PSN vouchers from Amazon.com, only thing was requiring a U.S. address to checkout at Amazon, which I got from borderlinx, free with registration.

Redeem codes on your US PSN account and purchase game, easy.
 
This is a stupid question but I do not own a PS4 yet

Can you just fully buy the game digitally like Steam? I hate physical games
