Blu-ray Digital Copy Redeeming?

I'm not really familiar with how you redeem the digital copy that comes with Blu-rays, but my question is this: Can the code be redeemed on Vudu? If so, that would be perfect for me.

Depends on the movie
Some only support certain services. It will usually tell you on the code sheet.

I haven't done it in awhile but I always redeemed on VUDU.

Usually movies anywhere now a days. It links all your services together and allows it to sync between vudu, iTunes etc.

Newer movies are redeemed there directly but older ones can still be redeemed in say iTunes and it will sync to the other platforms.

Just follow the instructions on the pamphlet that's included. A lot will use your their own web page that you then pick your preferred provider, almost all allowing Vudu.

Not all studios are part of Movies Everywhere, but the ones that are will put your redeemed movie on all services provided that you have linked.

I'm probably just going to buy some UHD movies on VUDU like I have been doing. I don't have an UHD player, (only my PS4 Pro) so I'm only limited to Blu-rays otherwise. Thanks for the help, though. :messenger_savoring:

EDIT: I just downloaded the VUDU app on my iPad Pro and the only options I see for purchasing movies is 4K Blu-rays or Blu-rays... The physical versions. WTF? I guess I'll have to buy my movies through the VUDU app on my phone. Weird shit, man.

That's an Apple thing. You can't purchase competing digital products that Apple also sells through any app downloaded from the App Store. You can always just go to Vudu.com to make the actual purchase then it'll appear in the apps library.

Ah, it makes sense now. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

If you link all of your accounts via Movies Anywhere. Once you redeem it on the main service you like to use, that movie will be available on most of the other services.
I own 263 movies on Vudu and 234 of them can be watched on youtube. (which means I can watch most of my movies on my Switch Lite when I'm traveling)

As of right now you can link the following services to "share" your movies between them:
iTunes
Vudu
Amazon Prime
Xfinity
FandangoNOW
Verizon Fios TV
Microsoft
Google Play (YouTube)
