Bob Sapp is just embarrassing to watch. He`s alwasy out of gas after the first round. He seems to lose a lot though, which is nice.

They like him because he's really powerful and has a lot of personality. His technique sucks though.

here to defend my friend's honor...

Both of the Hoost fights he lost... if it is the one where Bob pinned Hoost into the corner and all Hoost can do was cover himself for the next min and a half then yeah the refs did give Bob a gift.... if giving him a gift means saving Hoost from having brain damage...

Now I am not going to lie to you guys and tell you Bob is a great fighter... but he gives the Japanese what they want, and need in that Sport... Fighters tend to be really boring, or not well spoken people... K-1 needed a voice for their sport and Bob was it...

ferrets ferrets ferrets ferrets FERRETS!!!
Bob is a stupid lout (but a funny one) and I applaud Cheap Seats for telling it like it is.

(Cheap Seats is a really good show, by the way. Did anyone see the episode with Frank Gifford announcing an arm-wrestling championship which had about 3 fights break out during the competition?)

Bob Sapp was promoted well, fed some weak opponents, but everytime he faces real competition, he gets beat.

Not really... but I admire your hating...

Actually considering that Bob had no prior fighting experience and considering that many of his matches were against fighters with experience AND far superior fighting technique I'd say none of Bob's opponents have been particularly weak if you consider the circumstances

Also as far as facing real competition and getting beat well considering the time Bob started fighting to now. The extent of Bob's fighting abilities are going to be limited because I'd be willing to bet that a person starting as late as Bob did is never going to become a natural fighter. So it is perfectly logical that against someone of even close to equal size/strengh with superior fighting technique and experience Bob is going to lose.

That being said, Bob does well for himself in the ring. I'd like to see any of the haters in here take Bob's body and step into the ring. I'm sure even with the size, strength, and speed of Bob's body you'd get destroyed against ANY skilled fighter.

those are all good points, and there are not many fighters who can say they beat Hoost twice in a row. Also he will start fighting MMA more this year which then people can see an area of fighting he is actual pretty skilled at... and he can knock more people out with the smaller gloves!

I know a thing or two about fighting and if I had Bob's body and stepped into the ring against Hoost I'm pretty sure I'd lose the fight. In an MMA match I'd prolly say that most fighters have some trepidation going into the ring against Bob.
