I liked the first Boktai, but I can't manage to find any excitement for part 2. Well, it looks more like part 1.5.... that might be part of the reason. :/

On a more positive note, I'm playing through it and it's much nicer than the first (which was awesome too)

it's a lot more easy on you if you can't get out to the sun too ... I enjoy being played by a game, but if there wasn't the 'solar' issue this game would sell a TON to people otherwise dissuaded by the 'solar obligation'

it's the closest thing to a portable Metal Gear I can think of ... in it's own little way.

but really fun game, every bit as robust as Mario&Luigi or Metroid Zero Mission.

Boktai 2 is significantly superior to the original, imho. I really dug the added action-rpg elements.

That's absolutely a steal - and to all those holding out - the reason to own this game is BECAUSE of the solar obligation - it's weird, it's kind of annoying, but it's different and something unlike anything else!

Kojima is tired of MGS, and Boktai is his new passion.... for now.
