Wow, I really think I`m gonna pay 200 euros for a DS and this next-gen game. What a bargain this is. Thank you, Nintendo.

Namco is making the game, what the hell does Nintendo have to do with way that Namco made this game? It's freaking Bomberman, not Splinter Cell or Doom 3.

It would be pretty cool if you could toss bombs with the stylus.

Well maybe they'll have a mode for it, but it won't work in the screens we've seen, as if you were on the top screen you wouldn't be able to do it.

The could quickly switch the screens 180 degrees I suppose as you move from one to ther other, but that's just going to be disorientating.

Can multiplayer be transferred from one game card?

I never actually owned Bomberman on the GBA, but I seem to recall it was single cart there (with huge, annoying loading times), so it'll probably carry over.

Actually, it's Hudson's game. :P

And yeah, looks excellent. Always good to see 2D gaming and the standard looks well represented on DS.

Software Failure.. Guru Meditation (goes on, off in red against black)

I think it looks great. I hate the Super Happy Gamecube Bomberman style games, this looks much like one of the games from the SNES time. Which is a very good thing, and with wifi multiplayer? Me and my friends will def. play this for hours.

The only thing that would not make me pick this up would be the single player replay value. If they could make like a random level generator or a high score system, it's MINE.
8 player multi rocks, btw.

And since when does a DS cost 200€???if it cost $148 in US????

System will be 149 euro apparantly, plus this magnificent game 30-40 euros? Also I live in Scandinavia where we will most likely pay more than rest of Europe, since we always do.

DS GET!

mine.

Oh wait....how is this going to differ from Bomberman max Red and Blue for GBA?

Wheres puzzle fighter?

Wow.... this looks really great. I mean, it doesn't look "OMG OMG" awesome or anything, but I love bomberman, so this was pretty much a must-buy to me, along as they didn't fuck it up too badly. And not only have they not done that, but it looks like they've done a nice job. Good variation in the maps, etc.

Edit: look at the ice level. That looks shit hot. Looks like the added bosses, and are really mixing up the bomberman gameplay, and what you can do with it.

I loved the book that told you what all the guru mediations meant :) I wish I still had that :/

Anyway it's Bomberman and looks fantastic.... can it top Bomberman 94 PCE or Saturn bomberman!?!?! only time will tell....

What the hell was I thinking?
Namco is actually attachted to this somehow. At least, they were on a boxart floating around last week, i think they're probably distributing it or something like that.

I missed this badboy!

Looks great. I still pull out the SNES for some Super Bomberman action. I'd rather something like this than any of the arsed up attempts they've made in the series since. I'll be all over this when it comes out.

Are you forgetting about SATURN BOMBERMAN? You know.. the best one that ever was?!

So is this game single cart multiplayer?

Or will it be single cart multiplayer in Japan only while we didn't have time to implement this feature in the NA version?

Ubisoft publishing, summer US release. Touchscreen for menus and gameplay (I still don't see how it can work with the above though, maybe it's just for single player or perhaps you can restrict multiplayer to one screen). Uses the microphone for voice recognition (doesn't say what, maybe remote bombs though they could just assign a button, maybe something more inventive like once a game you can blow into the microphone to move the bombs around or away compeltely).

No word on single cart or not.
