Some psn amazon offers came with a5 credit for u maybe that's what happened.
Aw bollocks, bought a 1 year Plus subscription and keep on getting 'An Error Occurred' message. Was going to wait and see if everything worked (I'm in the EU and registering with my US account) and then get another year if all went well.

That's quite odd! I was under the impression that both digital and physical copies had the ability to upgrade. That's What it states in the PS3 to PS4 sections anyway.
Really? I had to wait for a couple of minutes to be able to upgrade my AC4/BF4.

Im so confused. I went to the PSN store on my PS4 and used my code for Assassins creed 4, but its still not allowing me to upgrade, it keeps saying "not available for purchase". What do I do?

Eh. I'd let it go lower or opt for a lower price on PC.
Feels to me like if it got that low it's going to be ripe for Plus fodder sooner than later. Kind of the problem with me I guess, though it helps on my end that I blasted through on PC and would only want on PS3 for Move, and it wasn't exactly my favorite game of the year anyway.

Ive been talking/fuming at sony support for the last 45 minutes or so. First him and his manager told me only physical copies of COD are eligible for upgrade, which I called bullshit on. Says right on the page digital copies are upgradeable. Then he's telling me it doesn't show up on my account, which I am now on hold again after saying bullshit. It's clearly on my download list with 11/28 10.9 gb ps3. Anyone have any luck with sony support? I feel like they don't know what they are doing.
I had to logout and then back in and then it came up.
My Aveline did.
And everyone trying to redeem codes I would wait a few days unless you don't already have plus.
Did you redeem the aveline code before the upgrade? Or after and in which system?

I was going to call them but i figured i would get even more annoyed trying to deal with them.

I redeemed the upgrade on the web store and the Adeline missions were added to my download list.
