Borderlands 4 has gone GOLD

Probably day one. Will see. Almost done with the third one's all achievements. Gaf hates it cuz the characters and its story sucked, but lets be real if you're playing a Borderlands game for the story than youre dumb. 3rd one is incredibly fun with awesome soundtrack and I hope mayhem mode makes a return in the 4th. Hopefully Michael Mcann and Jesper Kyd are doing the music again for the 4th.

I can't have fun playing the game because the writers are too busy making greasy farts in my ear. So, no.

Nah borderlands gameplay was alright..
But it has shit om destiny 2

The loot in bl3 was fun
Handling shooting balance? Destiny 2 all day
 
Wonder if the profits made by the game will go towards financing Randy's USB-missing escapades.

Destiny 2 will be around and hanging on to whatever threads Bungie still has long after people are done with BL4.

And I'm excited about BL4. Outriders and The First Descendent came and went, all while Bungie continued shooting the ball into their own net over and over again.

Well, we had "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked." That was a one and done. And if those games actually had BGM, I honest-to-God could not even tell you what it sounds like or what the genre is.

This feels a little mean, but man, dunking on Borderlands feels so cathartic. It's not personal. It's just Borderlands is the antithesis to quality. It's so... bad. I don't know where they're getting the funds to keep this thing going, but it's gotta be sus.

Thats just you I guess. Even Borderlands 3 with its bad story is sitting at 81% on steam even after the review bomb for the EULA changes. A lot of ppl are loving the gameplay. You're a minority I guess.

BL3 had such a good gameplay, If BL4 have a gameplay good as 3 i think i can handle their juvinile lvl of writing again.

hopefully Ava ll have almost no screen time or been killed offscreen

Waiting for word of mouth on this one. BL3 was ruined by its writing, literally to the point where I stopped playing. Hopefully they've done a better job this time around.

It really did. It was a huge upgrade over the first few games in both feel and fun.

I'm sure I could tolerate bad writing again at the right price. These games go on sale regularly after 6 months or so.
 
It's weird but I don't think the art-style works on modern hardware, it looked "better" when it was low-resolution and gritty with aliasing, the cleaner IQ just makes look cheap. But maybe that's just me.

Don't know yet. My guess is that Randy and crew must have been hooked on Destiny 1/2 and learned a lot from both for this entry.

I think they're going to have a difficult task ahead because they have to convince people that this game is different.

I appreciate you giving the video a fair watch.

The game thus far has a plethora of improvements and I am cautiously optimistic but the recent influx of marketing, gameplay features and QoL for replaying quests or farming bosses alongside Vault dungeons might mean this game will be pretty special. Devs seem very confident which is a good thing.

So far I'm interested in all the playable characters which isn't something I could say for BL3.
 
BL2 was one of my most played games when it came out. Loved it so much. BL3 was meh for me. Cautiously optimistic on BL4. I really hope it's good. I was going to comment that they turned this around pretty fast until I looked up that BL3 came out in 2019.
 
Excited. 3 was actually really fun even tho I bounced off it. The grenades and ragdolls, I remember a barista robot. I liked it. That means they haven't missed yet for me.
