I really do hope that this suspect is cornered: within the police perimeter, and with no escape routes. As discouraging as the inability to find him after the foot chase was, maybe it is a better idea that police give themselves morning light. Presumably the guy can't go anywhere.

This is a massively risky move waiting for daylight. They're giving this individual time to take hostages or set more traps. They must be waiting for more coverage. Feds are probably pulling in all SOG nearby, State SWAT/SERT teams.

Anybody in that area better not leave their houses unless a critical emergency. There could be bombs anywhere it sounds. Amount of gunfire is absurd. That guy that died, if it was during the exchange on the one youtube video probably got torn to pieces.

The amount of media from this is going to shame that infamous Cali bank robbery. I hope I can get some dashcam footage from this if equipped.

EDIT: Sounds like SWAT is there with deployed motion sensors going off in "100 Talcott".
