Protestantism is just as decentralized. It's how we get everything from the UCOC that is extremely progressive to the insanely fundamental (he of the effigy of the President).

Certain denominations such as Lutheran, Baptists, etc. have at the very least a regional chain of command, but there's little doctrinal governance at the local level. Sort of the point of American Protestantism is self-discovery of the word, for better or worse.

Sorry about that, your absolutely right. The thread was moving fast and I overly generalized that aspect.

Chopper's in the air...

Tactical team in-place? I think they're preparing to move on a location, but they're worried about holding other locations in case it isn't him...

K-9 units are moving in.

But logically, it shouldn't be for various reasons, least not the self-evident insinuation that all those who identify themselves as Muslims are a threat to people. All it's doing is playing on stereotypes

All you're doing is hoping that people won't notice the facts if we don't talk about them.

People aren't idiots.

that have fuelled violent xenophobia that has flirted with racial prejudice; it shouldn't be given any legitimacy by an International news outlet much less any one with common sense.
People won't stop focusing on a relevant fact just because it makes you unhappy.

Radical Islam has fueled a ludicrous number of terrorist attacks over the world over the past two to three decades, not because of magical coincidence, but because of an ideology dedicated to the same. The fact that they are Muslims is not an irrelevant sideshow that we just ignore because someone's political agenda demands it.

Just read an article from 2004 about the older brother boxing Golden Gloves up in my area (where I am from...I'm currently in Boston) Lowell, MA when he was 17 years old. It's so surreal. He was talking about how he likes it better here than Russia because of the opportunities and such. This guy went to Bunker Hill in pursuit of one day becoming an engineer.

I just want to know why..like everyone else.
