I'm now laughing at the idea of police training with live bullets, because they obviously train with live bombs according to infostupids.

We did see at least one report from the day of the explosion about a bomb drill. I thought dogs sniffing packages would be normal for a public event, but the description sounded a little different. Having said that, it sounds like this conspiracy theory was created on Day 1, and the events of subsequent days is being ignored in order to support the theory.
 
There's no room for a conspiracy, they killed a cop, stole a car, threw bombs at the police during their escapes, etc.

Edit: the drill story is all based on one witness saying officers were telling people to stay calm and that it was an exercise, period. One guy's quote.

They won't treat him as an enemy combatant unless there is solid evidence very soon that he is associated with a group like al-qaeda. They haven't read him his rights yet because they are currently using the public safety exemption.

That is really fucked up.

I thought they forgot to tell him when he was aprehended, or some shit like that.

It's been used, what, once before? I think we'll survive.

For future reference, don't get caught killing people and blowing legs off and I'm sure you won't have to worry about it.

It's not like he's not guilty. Only a fucking crazy person can't see it. So it's not like he's going to get railroaded into prison/lethal injection. He's getting that anyways. This is about seeing if they can get info to make sure there aren't any sleeper cells. There are limits to what's admissible. When you're caught red handed throwing out the same pressure cooker bombs two days later, any shred of doubt long since vanished.

The little shit's gonna talk anyways. That he was too big of a pussy to put a bullet in his own brain says all you need to know. He had no issues taking other people's lives, but he couldn't do the same to himself. If he knows anything about his brother's history, he's gonna sing like a canary in hopes of avoiding a lethal injection.
 
I think both the brothers are still alive. One corpse and a lifelike dummy are what we are seeing in the pictures. My bet is that they were trying to flee after being falsely accused. They were possibly apprehended with sleeping darts and tied to balloons to be whisked away without notice.

Yeah that's not how it works. Even now he is not guilty in the eyes of the law. And that is what counts. Procedures is what makes the system work.

You guys have been getting your Miranda knowledge from TV shows. You don't have to read Miranda rights the moment you're arrested. Just before you start asking questions.

Not a lawyer, but I am sure there is a clause that allows it to be.

I can understand if the concern is that he lawyers up and they obstruct while a third dudes leaves the country or does something horrible, but if we forego rights because of immediate danger, it better be real threat and not only percieved.

With the restrictions lifted and the "mission accomplished" attitude, I don't think that's the case.

This is totally disgraceful and people should put their emotions aside and see the value of a US citizens rights, even if he is a criminal.

Or is that not the american way?

Yes, by using the public safety exemption. Perfectly legal and justified in this case. They are limited to questions that affect public safety such as if there are other bombs still in the area, if there are other people they worked with, if he knows of any other plans, etc. Then they will read him Miranda.

You think he has bombs out there rigged to explode, and not affording him his miranda rights will save lives buy saving time?

I am sure the FBI has pertinent info they won't release, but I hope we will know the full story to judge if taking away his rights was necessary, and not just a form of de-amercanisation of the suspect.
