Bought a new iPad Pro... what is the better accessory: Magic Keyboard or Logitech Combo Touch?

Does anyone here with an iPad Pro have either of those accessories or at least used them in the past? I'm leaning toward the Combo Touch, because you can also use it as just a stand without the keyboard getting in the way, which I like to do. Also it's $100 cheaper. But apparently the typing experience is better on the Magic Keyboard.

Anyone use either of these and can offer recommendations?

You should ask that medical professional you were going to ask out what she prefers. Could be a way to break the ice and get her number and eventually get her to marry you.

Yuh I'm interested in this too. I'm actually looking at getting the logi to go keyboard and pebble mouse, then a case with a stand. Cheaper and lighter.

How much did you pay for the Pro?
I bought the best model. I had an old ipad and wanted a new one with a lot of memory and storage. It was a few hundred off on sale, so $1500 I think it was, and I had like $500 in credit saved up, so spent about a thousand on it.

Fuck thats a lot of money. What is your primary use for it?

I pretty much take it everywhere and use it for everything. I hate using my phone for anything that isn't podcasts and calls/texts. And even texting, I hate it on the phone. I don't like using thumbs to type. I know some people use their phone for everything like browsing, youtube, etc. I can't do it. All these years later, I still haven't gotten used to it after being a computer user my whole life.

If you use the iPad primarily as a laptop replacement, the Magic Keyboard is the way to go. If you use it a lot as a tablet, taking notes with the pencil, the Combo is great. I like being able to take the keyboard off when I write on the tablet.

An android tablet.
lol no.

this is the correct answer. I own the magic keyboard, love it, but would switch to the combo too and not feel bad.

Question about the magic keyboard. Would it stay flat on the surface of a bed or do you need a solid surface? Also, could the keyboard hang halfway off an edge of a table and still stay balanced? Weird questions, but they're important for how I use my ipad at times.

I've owned both the apple ipad smart keyboard and the logitech combo case for my 2017 ipad pro, the logitech one is so much better.

My smart keyboard broke (magnetic connector acting weird) and the apple store employee told me to get the logitech one over replacing the apple branded keyboard, I'm totally glad she did. Logitech one is better in every way and sturdier.

the logitech combo touch is awesome and it provides overall protection as a case. I'm thinking about buying the logitech pebble mouse too. I have the 1Tb 11inch ipad pro and its a fucking beast, I use it for digital painting, sculpting and 3d modeling (Shapr3d is so fucking good glad I get to use the education license), it's also super useful for Zoom meetings, photogrammetry etc. It's lighting fast just to pick up from where you left off, can just have apps after apps running in the background. The possibility to split screen for like youtube and drawing app or 3dmodeling while watching a tutorial easily (I have no problem with working with small screen) blew my mind.
