Let me start out by saying this. HOLY SHIT!!!! U guys were right about this thing. It's just so amazing. Now let me get to the point of this post. I bought my psp at an EBX in a local mall. I was gonna do some trade-in's but they only offered 6 bux for 5 games. (more on this later). I go in there, buy the psp and I'm on the way home in the car with my friend driving. I carefully check to make sure that there are no dead pixels, and then I noticed that this was a PSP 1001k. They've already put out version 1001? I thought that the original units were 1000k. Anyways, further inspection leads me to find that they have pulled the Spidey 2 UMD from the boxes, and now the only thing in with the system is a worthless umd that shows demo videos...non-playable. I pay 250 just like everyone else, and they can't even throw spidey into the second shipment. That just really pissed me off.
Now about those games I tried to trade in. I brought in 5 GC titles (Beach Spikers, Cel Damage, Home Run Kings, SSX Trick, and Star Wars: Rogue Leader). When I called the guy on the phone told me that he couldn't give me an exact trade-in value but could give me a ballpark guesstimate. For each game he mentioned 3-4 bux, except for Cel Damage which was 6. I figured that if I could even cover tax with these games I don't even play anymore, I would be set. I get to the store and the guy behind the counter says....a buck each, except cel damage that's two. I couldn't believe this bullshit. I go to college in Virginia, but I'm from Long Island. On Long Island, I call an EB and they actually type it into the computer and give me a price....these fuck-offs ruined my day. Random I know, but this really just pissed me off.
