Every movie Brad Pitt stars in is always great. What do you think?

For me, Fight Club, Joe Black, Seven... They're the actor's best films.

Tom Cruise is also one of the best actors there is.

I think Brad Pitt is the better actor. I used to think he was a pretty boy until I watched Seven and Fight Club. He had lot of interesting and unique roles in movies over the years

Tom Cruise is a good actor but his roles has mostly been the same. I wish he would do more villian roles like he did for Collateral

I agree about Brad Pitt, he is a legend at this point.

I also think Tom Cruise is a legend, but mainly in movie role selection and stunts. Whenever Tom Cruise acts, he is usually playing Tom Cruise. There are only 2-3 roles I can think of where he actually played not-Tom Cruise and Collateral was one of my favorites where this happened.

Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, the last two classic Hollywood megastars. Both legends.

I like pretty much every movie Brad Pitt has made. What a wildly diverse and insane list of movies, too: Seven, Snatch, Interview with the Vampire, Ad Astra, Oceans trilogy, Mr.& Ms Smith, Inglorious Basterds, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the list goes on.

Ad Astra is probably my favorite. Deeply underrated movie that really resonated with me.

Dude's just effortlessly cool too.

Leonardo DiCaprio is also excellent.

This film is brilliant, unusual, artistic, and few people know about it.

Not even close!
He's dialed in every performance since Snatch imo.
Just mumbles or whispers his way through films.
And Tarantino seems to have boner for him for some reason.
Maybe he has nice feet..

At least Cruise can express a range of emotion convincingly.

Edit: I should clarify that he's a legendary movie star.
That nineties run he had was amazing, but since Snatch/Troy he has been mediocre, from what I've seen, and has lost a lot of range and motivation imo.

Loved him every since 12 monkeys. He is really good.....but just like alot of older actors seems to be phoning it in this last 15 years. Every since oceans 11/MrnMrsSmith era i feel like.

This was the first film where I saw his range, thought he was just another wooden Hollywood pretty boy before then.

Tom Cruise is great as an action actor and little more. He doesn't have as much range as Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio.

hilarious scene from meet joe black , an absolute turd of a movie

Girl Porn flic.
Rich white girl from a family of rich, loving people whos in a relationship with a rich guy.
Gets seduced by death who happens to take the body of a hot guy who is going to kill her dad.

Admittedly I like most things with Anthony Hopkins.

Didn't he beat his adopted kids? The court documents alleged he choked them and struck their faces before dousing them in various alcohols.

Bit of a pathetic thing to do to children.

Cruise, Pitt, Decaprio, Hanks, Freeman, maybe a few others, rarely disappoint. The problem is, there isn't a younger generation coming up thst have their charisma and box office draw. IMHO. Which is a real problem. Just seems like talent is dying out.

Charismatic and enjoyable to watch, but more a great entertainer than a great actor I'd say. I would put Cruise in the same category.

Brad Pitt is the only Hollywood actor I've met IRL

But he's also good to great in just about everything he's in. Bullet Train is probably my favorite movie of the last decade, and a big part of that is his acting in it.

Also his performance in Burn After Reading gave us this fine gif

I always considered Brad Pitt to be a lesser Robert Redford. The dumbfounded expression with slightly pursed lips was all too common in most of his roles.

Tom Cruise has nailed some major roles on the other hand even if he is the go to for overbearing protagonists.

Agree about Brad and Tom. Being a good actor isn't just about emotional acting, but also your charisma to bring in viewers to your movies and lets be real both of these dudes can bring a crowd to a cinema. Haters are just dumb.

If charisma was a person

Dont think he is anything special as an actor. He is very fun to watch, tho, and picks some really great movies.

I don't think he is as good in acting as some others (like Danzel Washington or Anthony Hopkins) but for sure I always liked the characters he played, he is one of the legends for sure.

He was also choosing some amazing movies, Fight Club is legendary and there are many others (Seven, 12 monkeys, Interview with the Vampire, Benjamin Button etc.)...

Dude he tries super fuckin hard lol, back in the early 2000's he was buying 800 dollar pants that were specifically made to not look "rich". The irony is fuckin outstanding haha. That being said, of course, he is absolutely one of the best actors of our time, just incredibly talented.
