I'd actually kinda like to see his Reckoners books turned into a movie. Feels like the subversive nature of all of the supers being giant dicks would be fun in the current climate.

I actually agree. I mean, the first book isn't that violent, it could work as a Dreamworks animation film even. While reading the second book though, I noticed that would be difficult considering

Vin headbutting a man to death is actually an important plot point.

Which gets me to think how 3D animated movies haven't transcended the "family-friendly" necessity the same way anime and video games have. I mean, Sausage Party made headlines as being "transgressive" just for not being a 3D movie for kids.
