Back in the 2000, Brazil had a very famous RTS developed locally by a team of 8 people, it was called OutLive.

It was heavily inspired in Starcraft, but it had some features that made it very famous among players, like 16 players online multiplayer (that worked tremendously well even on shitty dial up), up to date graphics, a very nice AI system, and, of course, the fact that it was fully localised (text and voice) in Brazilian Portuguese.

In about a year, after receiving a demo of the game, Take Two decided to distribute the game overseas and, despite its fame here in Brazil, it didn't were well received internationally, with critics saying it was too late and people weren't interested in a clone of a thing that was already 3 years old, and also the fact that the game had only 2 races available that weren't as unique in mechanics as the ones in Starcraft.

Unfortunately, the company struggled to survive trough the decade and closed its doors about 7 years after launching OutLive. Now, the original creators decided to bring the company back from the dead and and are preparing a remaster of the game, called OutLive 25, and promised a plain update, updating assets with the original uncompressed ones, and a fully working online multiplayer.

The game will be published by Nuuvem games, a Brazilian distributor, and will be available on Steam.

The launch date isn't disclosed, with the announcement limiting itself to say "soon".

If you don't know the game and are somewhat interested, check it out:

I was thinking about this game the other day when a similarly named title was mentioned. I remember reading about it back in the day and being thrilled a Brazilian studio could release a game like that. Glad to see Nuuvem making moves into publishing too...
