Noticed this as well. Potentially a longer cut version of the trailer coming soon?does anyone know why the trailer has that weird awkward cut at 2:03?

They are releasing at the same time and they have no concern for cannibalizing Wii U sales. If anything, I imagine they prefer you buy the NX version.

WWHD.I can't decide if I should get Twilight Princess HD or Xenoblade Chronicles X to help channel my excitement for now...
I'm thinking XBX just to get my open world fix.

I hope you can change the temperature meter to Celsius.
Oh god, yes, PLEASE. The same with the clock - 12-hour clock weirds me out.
*JasonMCG thinking aloud*
I wonder when we'll get to see NX visuals. Obviously not for months and months since it would cannibalize Wii U sales, but still.

I literally watched someone buy a Wii U yesterday on Amazon because of Zelda.
Not even one the is projected directly into your mind?Unless the NX version is so drastically better then I'm probably just staying with the Wii U version. Don't really have the space for another console right now.

Really guys? It's so obvious that it's intentionally cutting away arubtlyYep noticed that as well, felt wrong. That's strange for a company like Nintendo if that's an edit problem...

lt's really poorly done if that's the intent. When l first saw it l thought there was something wrong with my internet.
There will be dungeons.Do we know if there are full temples? Not talking about shrines.

...Open-air?
Wait a second.
Attack a cucco.
Drop a bomb.
Lunch for days.
PS9 isn't out yet.Not even one the is projected directly into your mind?
The traversal and interaction with the environment is exactly what I was hoping for. Rather than just being a backdrop, the travelling through the overworld has some consequence and meaning to it.
Just wait until they reveal a toilet in the game

This is too dark for Nintendo, but what if it's not rust on the Master Sword, but instead Ganondorf's dried blood?

Why wouldn't the original wielder have cleaned up that blood?

Catching up the trailer and details after a long shitty day at work.
Love pretty much every so far. Conceptually and mechanically looks to do some wonderful things with the open world premise and the Zelda franchise. Really does seem like it's harkening back to the series roots, literally back to the very first.
Not sold on stuff like item drops and durability. Nintendo hasn't done this "right" yet in my opinion and I'm not convinced loot shit has a place in Zelda. We'll see.
Like the art, but the tech looks terribly dated. Reality is I've been spoiled by open world games on PC hardware, or at least modern hardware, which the Wii U is not. The limitations in draw distance and scene density are painfully obvious and I don't feel the art, as nice as it is, does it any particular favours. The immediate proximity of Link always looks great, meanwhile everything on the horizon is devoid of detail. Really, really want to see the NX build.
Anyway get hype etc etc. Looks like a solid direction for the series.
It's not poorly done at all... maybe some people are just used to the generic trailer drops which are much more dramatic and a few seconds longer (and accompanied by a stupid sub bass drop). It's clear with the musical build-up and quick successive cuts that after the blank screen you are entering the climax of the trailer.lt's really poorly done if that's the intent. When l first saw it l thought there was something wrong with my internet.
