It's not over until it's over.

This. Last year people were concluding as soon as it was over.

Then that fucking majority verdict, Liberal bloodbath and SNP gain blew everyone's mind apart.

This could be the same thing - not likely, but not over till it's over.

Ladies usually like BBC.

I'm oddly invested in the BBC's coverage now, I want to switch to SKY but the remote seems so far away and Xbox voice commands ain't playing ball. Guess i'm stuck on BBC now.

What ya gunna do

The EU was very soft on UK because of the referendum. So I hope UK will take now some Syrian refugees. It is not understandable that all of them go to Germany.

People risking their life in Calais, because they can't take a boat to UK.

Ah so we should go back to threats? Why do you think we are where we are Today?

Last year it was known it was over as soon as the polls closed. There was some disbelief for a while, but the truth was there.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be the same tonight

No exit polls but everything swinging heavy to remain, you would have to think if leave had a chance they needed to go in favourites and there would be soooo much word of mouth from the campaigners.

Early night methinks

Well yes and no. There doesn't have to be a referendum. However there is no "EU" in a sense that it's some external organization that can just change the treaties. EU is basically a multilateral agreement between sovereign nations, which can only be changed if all the nations agree to change it.
Now that you mention it, I'm suddenly aware that I don't know enough about the process required to remove article 50. I need to do some more reading methinks :3

Kay Burley is really one of the most awful presenters I've seen. Such rubbish questions. Anyway as an Irishman I really hope the UK votes to remain. There is an awful lot wrong with the EU but I believe reform is the correct way forward. It would have consequences for our border with the north too.
I'm curious how we could reform it when it's resisted pretty much all attempts by the UK to change it in any meaningful way up until now. I don't expect it's monolithic nature to change :/

Just had a crazy guy saying:

Him: " imagine your grand child coming up to you and saying".

Him doing a childs voice: " Grandad what happened to Great Britain"

Him: " we didn't have the balls to leave the EU and they killed it"

Yeah.....

♫ They say the immigrants steal the hubcaps
Of respected gentlemen,
They say it would be wine and roses
If England were for Englishmen again. ♫

Well I've been following this thread but not able to post as I'm in work. I voted not putting ourselves in to another recession. I also wanted to keep my job. Fingers crossed we've not fucked ourselves over! D:

You lot are making me hungry too, I'm on a diet! This is possibly the worse thread to read!

The polling is going to be thrown off by the fact that there was a high turn out. The sampling would be based on expectations of turn out and it sounds like the high figures coming out now are taking people by surprise. Might still be Remain that wins, but it could be very close.
